5 SMA di Batanghari Terapkan PPDB Online

MUARABULIAN - Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Provinsi Jambi mulai menerapkan 64 SMA di Jambi menggunakan sistem Online pada Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) tahun ajaran 2019/2020, Senin (01/07/2019). Sistem zonasi masing-masing SMA berdasarkan kuota dan ketentuan siswa.
Ketua MKKS SMA kabupaten Batanghari, Drs Hafid diwawancarai menjelaskan, untuk kabupaten Batanghari, dari 11 SMA Negeri yang ada, sebanyak 5 sekolah melaksanakan PPDB online dan yang lainnya offline.
“ Ada 6 SMA Negeri, yaitu SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 6, SMAN 4 dan SMAN 7 Batanghari,” papar Hafid.
Ia menjelaskan, pendaftaran PPDB online maupun offline dimulai 01 Juli s/d 06 Juli 2019. Sedangkan pengumuman diterima SMA yang didaftarkan secara serentak pada tanggal 08 Juli 2019. Hafid mengatakan, penentuan keluluasan sesuai dengan perundangan yang telah ditetapkan kementrian pusat. Siswa yang diterima yakni 80 persen Zonasi dalam satu kecamatan, 15 persen siswa beprestasi dan lima persen pindah orang tua kerja.
“ Dari lima belas persen jalur prestasi akan dibagi lagi penentuannya 67 persen nilai akademik yang tinggi dan 33 persen nilai non akademik, seperti prestasi olahraga, seni yang nilainya tinggi. Sementara untuk jalur pindah orang tua ada 5 persen,” jelas Hafid.
Dijelaskan pedendang musik irama melayu Jambi ini, bahwa siswa sejak terdaftar di online akan bisa melihat secara lansung, perubahan setiap jam dan harinya posisi kelulusanya di website https://jambi.siap-ppdb.com
Sebagai kepsek SMAN 1 Batanghari, ia menegaskan, saat ini pendaftaran di sekolahnya untuk petugas disekolah berjalan aman dan lancar. Untuk keluhan dari orang tua terkait sistem zonasi siswa ini diberikan pemahaman sesuai dengan aturan yang ada.
“ Mudah-mudahan orang tua dapat menerima keadaan ini, tujuan dari PPDB sistem zonasi untuk mewujudkan pemerataan di bidang pendidikan bagi warga negara sehingga terjadi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, dan relevansi daya saing pendidikan. Dalam hal ini, pemerintah ingin memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya bagi anak usia sekolah memperoleh pendidikan yang baik,” imbuh Hafid.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, ia berharap penerimaan siswa baru lewat sistem zonasi dapat berlangsung secara obyektif, transparan, dan akuntabel, serta tidak diskriminatif. Sehingga tujuan pemerataan dan kualitas pendidikan dapat tercapai.
