Menurut Bupati Merangin, H. Al Haris,  dalam Surat Edaran tertanggal 3 April 2020 yang ditujukan kepada seluruh Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) dilingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin. Hasil repocusing kegiatan relokasi anggaran dientry ke Simda paling lambat 7 April 2020.

Hal tersebut dilakukan sehubungan dengan semakin meluasnya penyebaran wabah Corona 19 yang telah ditetapkan sebagai pendem global oleh World Health Organization (WHO). Maka perlu langkah-langkah antisipasi dan penanganan secara cepat, tepat, focus, terpadu dan sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dengan pemerintah daerah dengan melakukan refocusing kegiatan relokasi anggaran serta pengadaan barang dan jasa dalam rangka percepatan penanganan wabah virus Corona 19.

“Maka untuk mendukung langkah-langkah percepatan penanganan wabah virus Corona di Kabupaten Merangin kepada seluruh kepala OPD dalam kabupaten Merangin agar melaksanakan Refocosing kegiatan dan relokasi anggaran,” kata Bupati Merangin dalam surat edaran tersebut.

Dijelaskannya, repocosing kegiatan dari alokasi anggaran sebesar 10 persen diambil dari dana transfer umum (DAU dan DBH). Untuk refocusing kegiatan anggaran yang dilakukan antara lain pada belanja perjalanan dinas, penyelenggaraan kegiatan rapat, pendidikan dan pelatihan, bimbingan teknis, sosialisasi, workshop, seminar atau kegiatan sejenis lainnya serta kegiatan seremonial yang dapat ditunda pelaksanaannya.

“Selanjutnya juga terhadap belanja modal yang kurang prioritas, kegiatan pembangunan sarana dan prasarana kelurahan dan kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang belum proritas,” tandas Bupati Merangin.
