TANJAB BARAT - Jajaran pengurus dan anggota SMSI Kabupaten Tanjab Barat menggelar audiensi bersama Bupati Safrial, Rabu (19/8).
Dalam rangka menjalin silaturahmi, Ketua Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) Kabupaten Tanjab Barat, Ikmal Mardiansyah memperkenalkan keberadaan SMSI sebagi wadah serikat pemilik dan pengurus media siber yang terdaftar resmi di Dewan Pers.
Ikmal berharap pemerintah dapat bersinergi dengan media dalam menjalin kerjasama secara profesional menyampaikan pemberitaan pembangunan yang berimbang.
Bupati Tanjab Barat, H. Safrial menerima kunjungan pengurus dan anggota SMSI dengan didampingi Kabag Humas dan Protokol Setda, M Firdaus.
Orang nomor satu di bumi serengkuh dayung serentak ke tujuan ini menyambut baik kunjungan para pengurus dan anggota SMSI Tanjab Barat.
Bupati Safrial menyampaikan, poin penting kerjasama pemerintah bersama media salah satunya dalam mewujudkan visi misi pembangunan yang dijalankan pemerintah.
"Salah satu Visi Misi, Kita ingin berdampingan dengan semua pihak, termasuk media siber.
Menurutnya, Pemerintah Daerah sangat membutuhkan pemberitaan yang berimbang dan bisa mencerdaskan masyarakat.
"Termasuk saran, pendapat dan kritik. Supaya jalan pemerintahan ini baik. Tetapi kritik yang membangun, jangan asbun (asal bunyi). Kita ingin pemberitaan yang mencerdaskan masyarakat," tegas Safrial.
Keberadaan media siber sendiri kini dinilai lebih efektiv dan efisien dalam perananya menyampaikan informasi yang dibutuhkan pemerintah dan juga masyarakat.
"Lebih cepat, efektiv dan murah," terang Safrial sembari diselingi gurauan.
Audiensi SMSI Kabupaten Tanjab Barat bersama Bupati Safrial dilaksanakan di ruang rapat Kantor Bupati Tanjab Barat dengan mengedepankan protokol kesehatan dengan melakukan jaga jarak dan mengenakan masker.
Perwakilan pengurus dan anggota SMSI yang hadir yakni Ketua Ikmal dari media Lingkar Jambi, Bendahara Ame Ahmad (Baca Jambi), M Hasibuan (Bulenon News), Hengky (Dewarta), Harun Yahya (Akses Jambi), Eko (Serambi Jambi), Surya, dan Bintoro (Point Jambi).
