PILKADA : Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan, Edi Purwanto memberikan sambutan pada sebuah acara partai. Pilwako Jambi, PDI Perjungan tetap dorong kader nomor satu.
JAMBI- PDI Perjuangan sudah memastikan bakal memasangkan Abdullah Sani di Pemilihan Walikota (Pilwako) Jambi 2018. Sebagai calon petahana, Abdullah Sani menjadi satu-satunya kader yang medapatkan dukungan penuh di Tanah Pilih Pusako Betuah.
Langkah ini berbeda dengan dua daerah lainnya, Merangin dan Kerinci yang juga menggelar Pilkada serentak. Di Kerinci PDI Perjuangan memasang dua kader, Edison dan Candra Purnama. Sedangkan Merangin ada petahana Khafied Moin dan Zainur Arfan.
Dukungan ini dibuktikan dengan keputusan partai yang akan mendorong Abdullah Sani sebagai calon Walikota (Cawako) periode 2017-2023. Hal ini disampaikan langsung Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto (EP) dibincangi harian ini, Jumat (22/9) kemarin.
“Yang jelas Abdullah Sani kita pastikan maju nomor satu. Komitmen ini kita sampaikan sejak awal,” ujarnya.
Penegasan Edi Purwanto tampaknya menandakan partai berlambang banteng moncong putih tidak ragu meskipun berhadapan dengan kandidat petahana Sy Fasha. Langkah strategis partai sudah disiapkan, termasuk persoalan koalisi yang akan memuluskan pencalonan Abdullah Sani.
“Kita sudah diskusi dengan banyak Parpol terkait persoalan ini. Prosesnya sedangkan berjalan,” katanya.
Hanya saja, Edi Purwanto tidak menjelaskan secara gamblang dengan Parpol mana saja permbicaraan itu digodok. Tapi Edi menyebutkan jika pihaknya bakal menampilkan petarungan yang manarik pada Pilkada tahun depan. “Kita ingin tampilkan pertarungan manarik, seperti apa kita lihat saja nanti,” tegasnya.
Bagaimana dengan wacana duet AbdullahSani dan Sum Indra? PDI Perjuangan tampaknya terbuka dengan wacana tersebut. Tapi partai besutan Megawati Soekarno Putri ini tetap akan memasangkan Abdullah Sani sebagai calon Walikota.
“Sekali lagi, yang jelas Sani nomor satu. Beberapa partai hampir sepakat seperti itu,” ungkapnya.
Lantas sudah adakah pembicaraan lebih lanjut terkait kolasi PDI Perjungan dan Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN)? Mantan pimpinan DPRD Provinsi Jambi ini mengaku sudah komunikasi dengan banyak Parpol, termasuk PAN. “Kita sudah komunikasi dengan banyak Parpol. Kita lihat saja perkembangannya kedepan,” ucapnya.
Disamping itu, terkait dukungan PDI Perjuangan di Kerinci dan Merangin, Edi mengatakan jika saat ini pihak masih menunggu hasil survey. Proses itu dilakukan setelah kandidat mengikuti uji kelayakan dan kepatutan di DPP.
“Sekarang lagi survey, dalam waktu dekat ini sudah rampung. Mungkin setelah itu bisa kita ketahui seperti apa keputusannya,” pungkasnya.
