MUARATEBO - Meski air sudah mulai surut, namun status siaga banjir di Kabupaten Tebo akan tetap di perpanjang hingga akhir Januari 2019 mendatang. Hal ini langsung disampaikan oleh Kepala BPBD Tebo Hari Sugiarto.
" Berdasarkan surat pemberitahuan dari BMKG, curah hujan akan tetap berlanjut hingga Januari. Meski saat ini curah hujan mulai berkurang dibanding bulan sebelumnya," kata Hari Sugiarto, Rabu (26/12) kemarin.
Hari juga menyebutkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil rapat, pihaknya terpaksa memperpanjang status siaga banjir untuk mengantisipasi banjir kiriman. Pasalnya, curah hujan dari Kabupaten Bungo masih sangat tinggi.
" Perpanjangan status siaga banjir akan berlangsung hingga 31 Januari 2019, hal ini berdasarkan masih tingginya curah hujan," jelasnya.
Meskipun demikian, pihaknya masih terus melakukan pemantauan, jika curah hujan semakin berkurang maka status siaga banjir akan dicabut atau jika masih tinggi akan diperpanjang lagi.
" Cuaca kan sekarang kerap ekstrim dan hal tersebut yang perlu kita waspadai," katanya lagi.
Hari mengatakan bahwa daerah yang rawan terkena banjir yaitu di Kecamatan Tebo Ilir, Muara Tabir, Serai Serumpun, Sumay, Tebo Ulu, VII Koto Ilir dan VII Koto Ulu.
"Ada 7 wilayah yang rawan banjir, karena wilayah tersebut berada di daerah aliran Sungai (DAS) Batanghari. Meski sering terkena banjir, masyarakat masih tetap bertahan dan jika harus pindah palingan warga mengungsi ke rumah keluarga karena banjir hanya sesaat," pungkasnya.
BPBD mencatat, bahwa banjir yang melanda Kabupaten Tebo beberapa waktu lalu sedikitnya terdapat ada 2 desa di Kecamatan Serai Serumpun
yang terendam banjir yaitu Desa Teluk Melintang 63 KK dan Pagar Puding Lamo 200 KK.
Sementara, di Kecamatan Sumay ada 96 KK di 6 desa yang terkena bankir. Di Kecamatan VII Koto 54 rumah di 2 desa, VII Koto Ilir ada 77 KK di 4 desa, Tebo Ulu 12 rumah dan 1 desa, Tebo Ilir 45 rumah di 1 desa.
