MERANGIN - Warga Desa Lantak Seribu Kecamatan Renah Pamenang, bersama anggota Kodim 0420 Sarko, Kopda Surisman, Jumat (8/2/2019), sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB, mengamankan Yanto (19) warga Desa Sungai Baung Kecamatan Sarolangun, yang mengaku anggota TNI dan berdinas di Koramil Pauh.
Sebelum diamankan pelaku yang berperawakan kurus dan berambut cepak ini, awalnya membawa kayu pecahan dari kebun duren di Desa Lantak Seribu. Pelaku mengendari truk BD 8152 PK hendak menuju ke Sarolangun bermuatan kayu pecahan dan diperkirakan sebanyak tujuh kubik.
Warga yang curiga dengan muata kayu, kemudian memberhentikan mobil yang ditumpangi pelaku dan mengatakan, bahwa kayu yang dibawa akan diantar ke kawasan suku anak dalam di Sarolangun. Bahkan saat itu pelaku mengaku sebagai anggota TNI bertugas Koramil Pauh dengan pangkat Prajurit kepala (Praka).
Warga yang mendengar penjelasan itu, agak curiga dan berusaha menghubungi Danramil Pauh, Kapten Inf Sutego, ternyata tidak ada anggota dengan pangkat Praka di Koramil Pauh. Kemudian warga memberi tahu anggota Koramil yang tinggal di Desa Bangun Jayo, Kopda Surisman. Akhirnya, pelaku berikut truk berisi kayu pecahan diamankan dan dibawa ke Markas Kodim 0420 Sarko.
Dari pengakuan pelaku Yanto, bahwa dirinya mengaku sebagai anggota TNI, agar bisa lewat bawa kayu pecahan.dan menyesal atas segala perbuatannya.
“Saya sebenarnya cuma tukang muat kayu, saya mengaku anggota TNI, biar bisa lewat saja,” kata Yanto.
Sementara, Dandim 0420 Sarko, Letkol Kav Rohyat Happy Ariyanto, mengatakan, pihaknya akan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap pelaku dan kemudian diserahkan ke Polres Merangin.
“Setelah kita periksa dari keterangan pelaku, ngakunya di palak sehingga ngaku TNI, tapi yang jelas sudah saya limpahkan ke Polres Merangin. Saya berharap tidak ada lagi warga sipil yang mengaku-ngaku TNI untuk tujuan yang tidak baik,” tegas Dandim Sarko.
Kasatreskrim Polres Merangin Iptu Hairunas membenarkan, menerima pelimpahan pelaku yang diduga mengaku anggota TNI berikut barang bukti satu unit mobil truk bermuatan kayu.
“Kami sudah menerima pelimpahan dari Kodim 0420 Sarko, dan saat ini masih dalam pemeriksaan,” tandas Kasat Reskrim.
