MUARABULIAN - Selain berbenah mengenai sistem pembelajaran yang ada pada sekolah, Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Batanghari juga berupaya melakukan pembenahan terhadap fasilitas pendidikan yang ada.
Rencananya pemkab juga akan memperbaiki fasilitas penunjang yang ada di 212 Sekolah Dasar (SD).
Hal ini seperti apa yang disampaikan oleh Sekretaris Badan Perencanan dan pembangunan daerah (Bappeda) Batanghari, Tesar, kemarin.
Kata dia, pihaknya mewacanakan untuk perbaikan fasilitas penunjangnya terlebih dahulu. Khusus SD ada ratusan, diatas 200. Nah kalau untuk SMPnya 56 sekolah.
Kata Tesar, sejauh ini pihak Bappeda dan pihak Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (PDK) Batangghari tengah melakukan pendataan terhadap seluruh sekolah yang tersebar di delapan kecamatan.
“ Yang kita jumpai, persoalan yang tengah dihadapi pihak sekolah yaitu ketersedian toilet sekolah yang tidak memadai. Toilet untuk siswa itu,” jelas Tesar.
“ Kalau berbicara jumlah keseluruhan. Kita masih melakukan pendataan. Jadi untuk jumlah keseluruhan kita belum bisa memastikan. Tapi sebagian ada yang bagus, dan sebagian ada yang belum memadai,” imbuhnya lagi.
Saat ini, proses pengajuan untuk wacana tersebut masih dalam proses penyusunan RKPD. Dengan demikian rencana tersebut nantinya akan di tuangkan dalam rencana kerja pemerintah daerah atau RKPD di tahun 2020 mendatang.
“ Dimana proses ini masih dalam proses penyusunan untuk dibahas agar di sahkan dalam peraturan Bupati. Nah untuk target kita di bulan Mei ini final sudah,” tutup Tesar. (ist/mon)
