BATANGHARINEWS.COM – Dinas perikanan dan ketahanan pangan (PKP) kabupaten Batanghari, mengaku saat ini pemasaran ikan patin dari kolam yang ada di petani di Batanghari sulit. Hal itu dikarenakan permintaan ikan patin di pasar mengalami penurunan.
Hal ini diakui Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan kabupaten Batanghari, Ir Kusumo Adiwijoyo melalui Kabid Produksi Perikanan, Syofyan AM, kepada media ini di Muarabulian, belum lama ini.
Syofyan mengatakan, saat ini ada sekitar 350 ton ikan patin di petani yang ada di Batanghari siap panen. Namun ikan patin dari kolam tersebut, masih sulit dipasarkan. Hal itu dikarenakan permintaan akan ikan patin menurun.
“ Saat ini ada lebih 350 ton ikan patin siap dipanen, ukuran berat 400-800gr/kg, harga dikolam Rp.14.000/kg,” kata Syofyan.
Menyikapi hal itu, diakui Syofyan, bahwa pihak dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan kabupaten Batanghari telah berkoordinasi dengan dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan serta dinas Koperasi dan Perdagangan provinsi Jambi untuk membantu mencari solusi permasalahan pemasaran ikan patin tersebut.
“ Kita dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Batanghari sudah melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan provinsi Jambi maupun pihak dinas Koperasi dan Perdagangan provinsi Jambi terkait hal ini. Dan saat ini kita masih menunggu respon dari pihak dinas Perikanan provinsi maupun dinas Perdagangan provinsi Jambi,” kata Syofyan.
Terpisah Igun kelompok tani Sinar Jaya Mas, kelurahan Jembatan Mas kepada media ini mengaku bahwa saat ini untuk pemasaran ikan patin lumayan macet. Hal itu dikarenakan stok ikan patin siap panen sedang banyak dan ikan sungai pun juga banyak.
“ Kalau menurut saya, pemasaran ikan patin lumayat macet. Karena stok ikan patin siap panen sedang banyak dan ikan sungai pun sedang banyak, sedangkan ikan patin kita hanya berebut di pasar lokal saja. Belum mampu untuk masuk pasar ekspor,” kata Igun dikonfirmasi media ini, Selasa (6/8/2019).
Kepada media ini Igun mengaku, bahwa petani yang ada di kelompok tani Sinar Jaya Mas sulit untuk pemasaran ikan patin sejak kemarau yang terjadi beberapa pekan terakhir. Hal itu berkemungkinan dikarenakan ikan sungai banyak keluar sejak kemarau,” jawab Igun saat ditanya media ini
Igun mengakui, bahwa permasalahan yang ada saat ini selain sulit dalam pemasaran adalah p ola budidaya kita yang masih memakai sistem tadah hujan, hingga ikan yang ada tidak memenuhi kualitas standar ekspor. Meskipun demikian diakui Igun petani yang ada akan berusaha untuk membuat ikan yang berkualitas.

Igun juga mengakui bahwa belum lama ini Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Batanghari telah melakukan peninjauan terhadap kolam ikan yang ada di Jembatan Mas.
Terkait dengan permasalahan sulitnya pemasaran ikan patin ini, pihak dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Batanghari akan melakukan koordinasi dengan dinas terkait.
" Beliau (Dinas-red) bilang akan berusaha koordinasi dengan dinas terkait untuk semua masalah yang ada," kata Igun menutup.(* )
