BATANGHARINEWS.COM-Polres Muaro Jambi telah melakukan penyelidikan terhadap berbagai peristiwa kebakaran lahan yang tengah terjadi di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Hasil penyelidikan yang dilakukan, sejauh ini belum ada yang mengarah kepada tersangka.
" Masih dalam penyelidikan, kita belum menentukan tersangka," kata Kapolres Muaro Jambi, AKBP Mardiono, saat ditanyai di Gedung DPRD Muaro Jambi, Jumat (16/8).
Mardiono mengatakan, terhadap peristiwa kebakaran lahan di Muaro Jambi, khususnya yang terjadi di Desa Sipin Teluk Duren, pihaknya telah memintai keterangan terhadap 15 orang saksi. Para saksi itu terdiri dari pemilik lahan, petugas Pemadaman PT.SNP, pihak perusahaan dan masyarakat.
" Sudah 15 orang yang sudah kita periksa, Mereka ini masih sebatas saksi," ujarnya.
Mardiono menyebut, dalam penyelidikan ini pihaknya bekerja sama dengan Tim Tipiter Polda Jambi. Kerja sama itu berupa join investigasi dalam pengungkapan kasus serta penentuan tersangka.
" Join investigasi dengan Tipiter Polda Jambi sedang kita lakukan untuk menentukan tersangka," ujarnya.
Menyikapi peristiwa kabut asap yang terjadi dua hari ini di wilayah Muaro Jambi, Mardiono mengatakan telah menginstruksikan Sat Lantas Muaro Jambi untuk melakukan pengamanan di titik-titik tertentu pada ruas jalan di Muaro Jambi. Termasuk mengingatkan para pengendara untuk menghidupkan lampu di siang hari agar terhindar dari kecelakaan.
" Sat lantas sudah saya perintahkan untuk mjengamankan ruas jalan termasuk mengingatkan para pengendara menghidupkan lampu di siang hari," kata Mardiono.(std)
