TANJABBARAT - Merasa prihatin melihat kondisi udara saat ini khususnya yang menyilimuti kabupaten Tanjabbarat akibat kabut asap membuat anggota dewan Tanjabbarat dari fraksi Gerindra, Sutejo, angkat bica.
Dikatakannya, terkait hal kabut asap ini dirinya mengimbau seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk sama-sama membantu mencegah dan menanggulangi kebakaran hutan dan lahan.
Dengan tidak melalukan pembakaran untuk membuka lahan disaat musim kemarau sekarang ini. Hal ini guna mencegah terjadinya kebakaran hutan dan lahan," kata politisi Gerindra, Kamis(5/9/2019).
Himbauan yang disampaikannya ini tidak lain semata untuk mencegah karhutla penyebab bencana kabut asap.
" Selain mencegah terjadinya kabut asap melalui kesadaran kita bersama, mari kita berdoa menurut kepeyaan agama masing-masing meminta pertolongan dari maha pencipta agar diturunkan hujan," terangnya.
Lanjut dia mengatakan, dilihat dari hasil pengukuran Indeks Standar Pencemar Udara (ISPU) yang dilakukan oleh pihak Dinas Kesehatan Tanjabbarat, angka ISPU sudah mencapai 129 Partikel Per Million (PPM),artinya kondisi udara bisa dikatakan tidak sehat.
Sehubungan dengan hal itu, Sutejo menghimbau kepada masyarakat agar mengurangi aktivitas diluar rumah jika tidak perluh dan kepada pemerintah hendaknya cepat melakukan tindakan.
“ Kita beharap pemkab terutama dinas terkait cepat respon dan tanggap terkait kabut asap yang tebal meyelimuti Tanjabbarat," sebutnya.(den)
