Wabup Tanjabbarat, Amir Sakib saat menyerahkan beasiswa kepada Anjani Mahasiswi Universitas Sahid Jakarta asal Tanjabbarat
KUALA TUNGKAL - Wakil Bupati Tanjab Barat, Drs. H. Amir Sakib serahkan beasiswa utusan daerah kepada Anjani, salah satu mahasiswi Universitas Sahid Jakarta asal Kecamatan Bram Itam, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Beasiswa ini diserahkan wabup pada acara pembukaan orientasi mahasiswa dan mahasiswi baru Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 yang diselenggarakan di lobby Universitas Sahid Jakarta, Selasa (10/9).
Disampaikan ketua pembina yayasan Universitas Sahid, dengan mengangkat tema "Raih Prestasi Masa Depan Gemilang" ini, universitas sahid ingin mendukung Tema HUT RI untuk mewujudkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) unggul Indonesia Maju.
Menurutnya, pembangunan sumberdaya manusia menjadi kunci suksesnya pembangunan di Indonesia. Universitas Sahid merasa ikut bertanggung jawab dalam memajukan SDM Indobesia.
" Sejatinya Universitas Sahid juga berperan sebagai agen perubahan untuk mahasiswa dalam menjawab tantangan yang ada," ujarnya.
Ditambahkannya, pemerintah juga selama ini terus berupaya memberikan dukungan dan fasilitas pendidikan, serta pengembangan diri bagi anak bangsa guna mempercepat pembangunan Indonesia.
" Beasiswa merupakan salah satu bentuk komitmen pemerintah dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas SDM di Indonesia" ujarnya.
Selain Dewan Pembina, Rektor, dan Dekan Universitas Sahid, Turut menghadiri kegiatan pembukaan Orientasi Mahasiswa Baru, Wakil Ketua MPR RI Dr. Ahmad Basarah. Dalam kegiatan ini Ahmad Basalah juga berikan kuliah umum wawasan kebangsaan, yang meliputi Ideologi Pancasila, UUD 1945, dan NKRI.
Wakil Bupati dalam sesi wawancara menyampaikan, Pemkab Tanjung Jabung Barat akan terus berkomitmen untuk turut serta meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia di Indonesia khususnya Tanjung Jabung Barat.
" Beasiswa ini merupakan salah satu komitmen Pemkab Tanjung Jabung Barat dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM kami, dan kami akan terus berupaya dalam meningkatkan pembangunan di bidang sumberdaya manusia," ujar Amir Sakib.
Dia berharap kepada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi agar memanfaatkan kesempatan emas tersebut sebaik mungkin. Sebab banyak anak yang mengejar dan bermimpi bisa mengikuti pendidikan di sekolah ternama tersebut. Namun tidak sebaik nasib yang lulus seleksi dan mengikuti pendidikan.
Sementara itu, Anjani Rianti Darmawan mahasiswi Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Sahid penerima beasiswa BUD, menyampaikan terimakasih kepada Pemkab Tanjung Jabung Barat. Dia mengungkapkan akan memanfaatkan beasiswa dengan sebaik mungkin.(den)
