BATANGHARI - Kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) di provinsi Jambi, khususnya di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari masih terjadi.
Akibat dari Karhutla tersebut, menimbulkan bencana alam kabut asap yang saat ini mengganggu kesehatan warga.
Menanggapi hal itu, Bupati Batanghari, Ir Syahirsah Sy, menegaskan akan memberikan reward atau hadiah kepada siapa saja yang berhasil menangkap pelaku pembakaran lahan dan hutan, khusunya di wilayah Batanghari.
Pernyataan ini disampaikan secara langsung oleh Bupati Batanghari, Ir Syahirsah Sy, saat diwawancara media di kantor Bupati Batanghari, Selasa (17/9/2019).
Dikatakan Syahirsah, dalam rapat yang dihadiri kepala Kejaksaan Negeri Muarabulian, Mia Banulita SH, menurut Kejari mengatakan, bahwa sebenarnya masyarakat yang meneumkan tindak pidana Karhutla pada saat terjadi, itu bisa menangkap pelaku, termasuk didalamnya pelaku pembakaran lahan. Apabila masyarakat mendapatkan bukti bahwa sesorang sedang melakukan pembakaran, tertangkap tangan maka masyarakat bisa menangkap orang itu dan diserahkan ke polisi.
“ Nah sekarang supayo masyarakat mau menangkap itu, maka kita kasi reward lah,” tegas Syahirsah.
Menurut Syahirsah, reward bagi masyarakat yang menangkap pelaku pembakaran lahan dan huta tersebut, macam-macam, nanti kita bicarakan. Misalnya, jika anaknya sekolah, maka akan diberikan beasiswa, kalau yang menangkap itu orang BPBD sendiri, misalnya pegawai honornya, maka akan diperpanjang kontraknya.
“ Kalau pejabat, kito promosi, kalau belum berkeluarga kito berikan uang,” kata Bupati.
Diakui Syahirsah, dana untuk pemberian reward kepada masyarakat yang menangkap pelaku karhutla tersebut, akan didanai melalui APBD kabupaten Batanghari. Namun saat itu beliau belum bisa menyebutkan berapa besaran anggarannya.
“ Besarannyo masih kita kaji dulu, masih kita bicarakan, ssesuai dengan kemampuan APBD kita,” kata Bupati.
Bupati juga menegaskan, bahwa instruksi ini berlaku bagi siapa saja yang bisa menangkap pelaku pembakaran hutan dan lahan di Batanghari. “ Saya sudah koordinasi dengan pihak Keuangan,” ujarnya.
Bupati juga menghimbau kepada masyarakat agar tidak membakar hutan dan lahan lagi, sebab saat ini Batanghari sudah di selimuti kabut asap dan dalam kategori tidak sehat.(mon )
