MUAROJAMBI - Akibat kebakaran hutan dan lahan yang masih terjadi di kabupaten Muarojambi, menyebabkan Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara (ISPU) di wilayah Muarojambi masuk kategori berbahaya.
Berdasarkan laporan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Daerah (DLHD) kabupaten Muarojambi, tingkat ISPU mencapai angka 341 dengan kategori berbahaya.
Elce kepala UPTD Laboratorium DLHD kabupaten Muarojambi mengatakan, kondisi seperti ini tentu sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan masyarakat. Selain dapat menyebabkan gangguan pernapasan, kondisi ini di khawatirkan juga dapat menyebabkan meningkatnya penderita infeksi saluran pernapasan akut atau ISPA.
Elce mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk memakai masker saat berada di luar ruangan, banyak minum air putih dan mengurangi kegiatan di luar rumah. Serta diimbau untuk tidak membakar sampah, karena dapat menambah buruk kualitas udara akibat pembakaran tersebut.(std)
