MUARABULIAN – Kamis (26/9/2019) pagi, puluhan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Himpunan Mahasiswa Batanghari (Himbari) menggelar aksi damai di depan kantor Bupati Batanghari.
Kedatangan mereka menuntut tranfaransi anggaran dan upaya terhadap pencegahan serta penaggulangan kebakaran lahan dan hutan (Karhutla) oleh Pemkab Batanghari. Kemudian menuntut tranfaransi dana Conferent Sosial Responsibility (CSR) kabupaten Batanghari, menuntut Pemda menindak tegas berupa pencabutan izin terhadap perusahaan yang lahannya terjadi kebakaran serta menindak tegas pelaku pembakaran.
Himbari juga meminta pemerintah Batanghari memberikan solusi kongrit mengenai Karhutla yang ada di kabupaten Batanghari, klarifikasi Pemda mengenai titik api, meminta Pemda tranfaransi terkait program-program SDM dan menuntut agar Pemda menyediakan tempat audensi antara Pemda dan mahasiswa.
“ Cabut saja izin PT PT yang nakal itu. Ngapain Cuma bikin sampah dan tindak tegas pelaku pembakaran,” kata Amri, koordinator lapangan (Korlap) aksi.
“ Kami ingin pemerintah miliki solusi kongrit,” tambah salah satu mahasiswa.
Dalam orasinya Himbari menyampaikan, sebagai mahasiswa memiliki andil untuk menyuarakan suara rakyat dan sebagai agen perubahan yang sebagaimana merupakan peran dan fungsi mereka (mahasiswa-red) menyikapi bencana Karhutla yang terjadi di wilayah Batanghari. Karena tindakan pemerintah yang massif dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan Karhutla. Oleh sebab itu elemen mahasiswa Batanghari yang tergabung dalam paguyuban Himbari untuk turun kejalan menyuarakan suara rakyat dengan beberapa tuntutan.
Usai orasi Himbari diajak mediasi di ruang pola kecil kantor Bupati Batanghari. Mediasi dipimpin langsung oleh Sekda Batanghari, H Bakhtiar SP.
Dalam kesempatan itu Sekda menampung semua aspirasi yang disampaikan Himbari. Salah satunya keinginan Himbari untuk bertemu langsung dengan Bupati Batanghari untuk menyuarakan dampak dari bencana kabut asap yang dirasakan oleh semua elemen masyarakat khususnya di Batanghari. (mon )
