MUARATEBO - Anggota DPRD Tebo yang baru saja dilantik beberapa waktu lalu, terpaksa harus berurusan dengan pihak kepolisian Polres Tebo. Tersangka atas nama Jamawarzi dari partai Gerindra terancam hukuman 10 tahun penjara dan denda Rp 1 Milyar, karena menggunakan gelar akademik palsu. Hal ini langsung dikatakan oleh Kapolres Tebo melalui Kasat Reskrim, AKP Muhammad Reidho Syawaluddin Taufan S.I.K, Kamis (03/10/2019).
" Tersangka kita kenakan UU Nomor 12 Tahun 2012 Tentang Pendidikan Tinggi. Pasal yang diduga dilanggar adalah Pasal 28 ayat (7) yang berbunyi: Perseorangan yang tanpa hak dilarang menggunakan gelar akademik, gelar profesi, gelar vokasi, dan/atau gelar profesi. Atau Undang-undang RI Nomor 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, ancamannya 5 tahun penjara atau denda Rp500 juta," kata Riedho, saat Konfrensi perss di Mako Polres Tebo.
Kasat menjelaskan, jika tersangka mendapatkan gelar akademik berupa Sarjana Hukum (SH) berikut ijazahnya dari Universitas Ibnu Chalbun, di Jakarta. Namun kata dia, cara mendapatkannya tanpa melaksanakan kegiatan perkuliahan. "Jadi tersangka mendapatkannya dengan cara membayar sekitar Rp30 juta," katanya lagi.
Setelah mendapat ijazah tersebut, tersangka mencantumkan gelarnya tersebut di SIM, KTP, KK dan juga digunakan untuk pelaksanaan Pemilu tahun 2019 kemarin.
" Jadi gelar yang seharusnya tidak digunakan oleh tersangka namun digunakan untuk identitas tersangka," kata Riedho.
Terkait kasus ini, lanjut Riedho, pihaknya menyita sejumlah barang bukti dari tersangka berupa KK, Ijazah, Skripsi serta berkas terkait pendaftaran Pemilu kemarin.
" Saat pendaftaran Pemilu kemarin, tersangka mengunakan Ijazah SMA atau tidak mengunakan ijazah S1, namun gelarnya tetap dicantumkan," kata Riedho lagi.
Dari keterangan KPU, Riedo menjelaskan jika mereka mengunakan gelar sesuai dengan yang tercantum di KTP. " Karena di KTP gelar tersangka adalah SH jadi persyaratan yang di gunakan adalah gelar SH," katanya.
Kasat menerangkan, jika berkas tersangka sudah P21 sejak 27 September 2019 kemarin. Saat ini pihaknya masih menunggu pelimpahan ke Kejaksaan Negeri Tebo.
" Kita tinggal menunggu pelimpahan ke Kejaksaan. Kalau sudah siap kami akan melakukan pelimpahan terkait barang bukti dan tersangka ke kejaksaan," katanya. (Zie)
