MERANGIN, BE-Ribuan santri dari sekitar 45 pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Merangin, pada Sabtu (19/10) mengikuti Pawai Santri, yang digelar dalam rangka memeriahkan peringatan Hari Santri Nasional 2019.
Pawai Santri yang dilepas Bupati Merangin Al Haris dari halaman Pondok Pesantren Munawwaroh Bangko tersebut, mekewati Jalan Lintas Sumatera dan melewati panggung kehormatan di Kawasan Bukit Tiung Bangko.
Dikatakan bupati, santri adalah pemersatu bangsa. Santri penentu keberlangsungan masa depan bangsa, Santri selalu menyatu menjaga keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.
‘’Anak yang sudah lulus dari santri, akan menjadi generasi muda yang berakhlakul karimah. Lulusan Pesantren bisa menjadi imam masjid di desanya, menjadi ustad dan menjadi pemimpin bangsa,’’ujar Bupati.
Melalui Pawai Satri bupati berharap bisa menyatukan hati para pemimpin dengan para santri. Bersama memanjatkan doa, agar bangsa Indonesia menjadi bangsa yang utuh, harmonis, kuat dalam kehidupan keberagamaan.
Selain itu menyatukan ummat beragama dalam wadah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). ‘’Selaku hamba Allah, nanti anak-anakku sekalian akan menjadi cikal penerus dan aset yang akan mengurus bangsa ini,’’tegas Bupati.
Harapan bupati, jadilah santri yang berguna bagi nusa dan bangsa, agama serta keluarga. Bupati mengajak para santri memperingati Hari Santri dengan riang gembira dan rasa bahagia.
‘’Walaupun negeri kita sedang dilanda cobaan seperti kabut asap, tapi kita harus bersyukur dengan segala ujian yang dihadapi. Insyallah dengan kekuatan doa, kita mampu kuat dan tangguh menjadikan Indonesia Emas 2045,’’harap Bupati.
Pada kesempatan itu, bupati mengajak seluruh umat Islam, untuk selalu menghidupkan Al-Quran dengan cara tak bosan-bosannya membaca dan menjadikannya sebagai pedoman dalam perilaku sehari-hari.
“Membaca Al-Quran tidak hanya di bulan Ramadhan, tetapi sepanjang waktu. Berusahalah supaya hari kita diselimuti, diramaikan dan dihiasi oleh Al-Quran,”kata Bupati.
Sementara itu Wabup Merangin Mashuri bersama Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Merangin Marwan Hasan dan sejumlah pejabat, menyambut iring-iringan Pawai Santri tersebut di podium kehormatan.
Di depan podium kehormatan yang berdiri di kawasan Bukit Tiung Bangko itu, barisan peserta Pawai Satri yang mewakili satu pondok pesantren, melakukan aksi hormat dengan berbagai gerakan.
‘’Kita wujudkan Kabupaten Merangin menjadi kabupaten santri. Hari ini ribuan santri keluar pondok untuk bersama-sama memeriahkan Hari Santri ke-4 tahun 2019. Kita punya lebih dari 42 pondok pesantren di Merangin,’’ujar Wabup.
Menariknya Pawai Santri itu, juga dimeriahkan dengan pawai mobil hias dengan berbagai ornamen bernuansa Islami. Kebanyakan mobil hias itu mengangkat tema tentang Al Quran.
