Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari Seleksi Calon Peserta MTQ Tahap Dua 15 Februari.
MUARABULIAN – Pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari melalui Tim Seleksi MTQ akan melaksanakan seleksi calon peserta (SCP) Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) tahap kedua untuk mengikuti MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi tahun 2020.
Seleksi calon peserta MTQ tahap kedua ini akan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu tanggal 15 Februari 2020 di kantor Kemenag Batanghari.
“Seleksi calon peserta MTQ tahap kedua akan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu 15 Februari 2020,” kata Kabag Kessos Setda Batanghari, Syukri saat dikonfirmasi media ini kemarin.
Syukri menjelaskan, setidaknya ada 165 orang peserta dari 10 sekolah mulai dari santri pondok pesantren (Ponpes), pelajar MAN, MTS dan SMK yang ada di wilayah Batanghari, yang akan bersaing untuk mendapatkan tiket menjadi peserta MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi tahun ini mewakili kabupaten Batanghari.
“Seleksi tahap kedua ini tidak lain untuk melengkapi kekurangan peserta MTQ Batanghari untuk mengikuti MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi tahun ini,” jelas Syukri.
Seperti diwartakan media ini sebelumnya, ada kekurangan peserta MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi tahun ini sekitar 10 orang lagi, sehingga dilakukan seleksi tahap kedua. Seleksi ini disamping memenuhi kuota MTQ tahun ini, juga untuk menggali potensi calon-calon kafilah MTQ Batanghari.
Syukri berharap para peserta seleksi dapat memberikan penampilan secara maksimal, sehingga dapat terpilih peserta terbaik yang nantinya akan mewakili Batanghari dalam even bergengsi tersebut.
Syukri juga berpesan kepada para peserta seleksi harus mencurahkan tenaga semaksimal mungkin agar dapat terpilih, namun perlu diingat bahwa sikap, tingkah laku dan kedisiplinan juga bagian dari penilaian. Karenanya ia berharap nantinya agar peserta serius dan mengikuti proses seleksi hingga selesai,” imbaunya.
