Jumat (14/2), puluhan anggota Polres Merangin berbagi untuk sesama dalam kegiatan Jumat Berkah. Mereka membagikan nasi kotak kepada sejumlah warga yang melintasi jalur dua depan Mapolres Merangin.
“Alhamdulilah dapat makan siang gratis dari Pak Polisi,” kata Yusnimar, seorang pedagang sayur yang mendapatkan nasi kotak dari anggota Polres Merangin.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Merangin melalui Kasubbag Humas Polres Merangin Iptu Edih PS mengatakan, program Jumat Berkah itu merupakan program Polres Merangin dalam rangka memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan mewujudkan Polri yang Promoter, dicintai masyarakat dan merakyat.
“Kegiatan ini sebagai upaya mendekatkan diri ke masyarakat. Selain berbagi untuk sesama, kita juga ingin hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat, agar mereka merasa aman dan nyaman dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya,”.
