Harlah NU sekaligus Haul Syeh Abdul Qadir Al Jailani R.A dan Syeh Muhammad Zaini bin Abdul Qhani (Abah Sekumpul) ke-15 kali ini mendatangkan langsung Kiyai Jalaludin Muhammad (Raden Sumatera).
Kegiatan pengajian rutin tahunan Merangin Berdzikir dan Bersholawat tersebut, dimulai dengan Istighasah, Dzikir Manaqib serta Sholawat dan doa untuk keselamatan bangsa dan keutuhan NKRI.
Ketua PC. NU Merangin Buya Hadrami dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, kegiatan Dzikir dan Sholawat sudah menjadi rutinitas warga NU, yang mesti harus selalu dilakukan.

"Kegiatan Merangin Berdzikir dan Bersholawat ini untuk memperingati Harlah NU yang ke-94, sekaligus untuk mendoakan keselamatan bangsa kita dan keutuhan NKRI," ujar Hadrami.
Sementara itu Kapolres Merangin AKBP Muhammad Lutfi yang juga hadir mendampingi Kiyai Raden Sumatera di atas panggung, mengajak masyarakat Merangin, untuk hidup rukun dan menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban.
"Dengan kegiatan ini saya menghimbau warga Merangin untuk menjaga keamanan, ketertiban. Saya bersyukur selama enam bulan dinas disini. Banyak yang buat kagum, masyarakat menghormati kepolisian, tidak mudah provokasi, tidak main hakim sendiri," ujarnya.
Acara yang dimulai sekira pukul 21.00 Wib tersebut, diikuti warga Nahdliyin serta organisasi Badan Otonom NU dan warga Kabupaten Merangin sangat khusuk dan berlangsung hingga tengah malam.
Selain ketua NU Merangin Buya Hadrami, hadir ketua GP Ansor Muhlisin, Ketua ISNU Imron Rosyadi, Ketum PMII Andri Rustandi, Ketua Fatayat NU, Muslimat NU, Kopri PMII dan kader kader PMII serta Badan Otonom NU lainnya, Banser dan Pagar Nusa.
