Hal itu sesuai dengan maklumat yang dikeluarkan Kapolri. Sebab sejumlah warga Merangin beberapa hari ini ada yang menggelar hajatan, namun berhasil dibubarkan aparat keamanan dengan pendekatan persuasif.
"Mohon apabila ada info masyarakat yang akan melakukan hajatan, agar diinfokan ke saya atau pihak tekait. Agar bisa kita antisipasi," ujar Kapolres, Jumat (27/3/20).
Dikatakan Kapolres gugus tugas Covid-19 yang sudah dibentuk Pemda bisa menindaklanjuti. Dan penyelenggara hajatan (Sohibul hajat) bisa menunda kegiatan tersebut untuk hindari pengeluaran yang sia-sia.

Dimana Kasat Intelkam AKP Tumpal Sinaga beserta anggota dan didampingi Bhabinkamtibmas Aipda Haryono, mendatangi warga atas nama Ahwar (50) yang berencana akan melaksanakan resepsi keluarga (resepsi pernikahan) pada hari Minggu tanggal 29 Maret 2020.
"Saudara Ahwar bersedia tidak akan melaksanakan resepsi pernikahan yang sebelumnya akan direncanakan pada Minggu tanggal 29 Maret 2020, dan mengganti dengan acara Ijab Qabul saja yang dihadiri oleh kedua keluarga mempelai yang dituangkan dalam surat pernyataan," tandas Kapolres.
