MUARABULIAN – Hingga pada Rabu (8/4/2020) kemarin, pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari melalui leading sektor Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa (PMD) Batanghari, belum memutuskan penundaan pelaksanaan Pemilihan Kepala Desa (Pilkades) Serentak bergelombang di Batanghari.
Pemerintah Batanghari melalui Dinas PMD menyebut jadwal Pilkades serentak di Batanghari sampai saat ini masih seperti rencana awal.
Kepala Dinas PMD Batanghari, M. Arif Budiman mengaku soal penundaan pelaksanaan Pilkades serentak bergelombang di Batanghari sampai saat ini masih dalam pembahasan. Dan untuk saat ini pihaknya masih fokus untuk penanganan dan pencegahan virus Corona (Covid-19) yang mewabah di Indonesia dan bahkan di dunia.
“Masih dalam pembahasan dindo, sekarang masih fokus untuk penanganan Covid-19,” ujar Arif Budiman dikonfirmasi media ini Senin (6/4/2020).
Sekedar mengigatkan bahwa untuk kabupaten Batanghari dari 110 desa yang ada di Batanghari, tercatat sebanyak 62 desa yang akan melaksnaakan pemilihan kades serentak bergelombang. Pemilihan kepala desa serentak tersebut akan menggunakan sistem e-votting.
Dimana dari 62 desa tersebut, terdapat puluhan desa yang saat ini dijabat penjabat kepala desa sementara, dan ada juga yang akan berakhir masa jabatan kepala desa nya pada bulan ini hingga akhir bulan Juni nanti.
