BATANGHARINEWS.COM - SKK Migas-PetroChina International Jabung Ltd, telah menyerahkan bantuan peralatan penanganan Covid-19 bagi masyarakat dan pekerja medis di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi, pada hari Sabtu, 2 Mei 2020.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, PetroChina menyerahkan bantuan berupa 7.000 buah masker kain, lima paket wastafel cuci tangan dan 10 paket sabun cuci tangan kepada PMI, Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) Tanjung Jabung Timur dan Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI) Tanjung Jabung Timur.
Dencio menekankan bahwa upaya penanggulangan Covid-19 hanya dapat berjalan efektif melalui kerjasama dari berbagai elemen masyarakat. “Sejalan dengan himbauan dari pemerintah, dibutuhkan koordinasi dan kerjasama yang baik agar kita dapat melewati masa pandemik ini dengan selamat. PetroChina berharap bahwa bantuan ini dapat melindungi segenap masyarakat dan pekerja medis Jambi dari Covid-19,” jelasnya.
Wirdayanti menyampaikan bahwa bantuan yang diberikan PetroChina akan segera didistribusikan ke masyarakat yang membutuhkan. “Insya Allah, kami akan segera mendistribusikan bantuan penanganan Covid-19 ini.”
Bantuan ini adalah bagian dari serangkaian kebijakan penanganan Covid-19 yang telah dilakukan PetroChina baik di Jakarta maupun di sekitar wilayah operasinya di wilayah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi.
Sebelumnya, pada tanggal 1 April 2020, PetroChina telah menyerahkan bantuan berupa peralatan medis, peralatan disinfeksi dan brosur himbauan penanganan Covid-19 di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Selanjutnya pada tanggal 6 April 2020, PetroChina ikut terlibat dalam kegiatan disinfeksi lingkungan di sekitar wilayah operasi di Kecamatan Betara, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, dan Kecamatan Geragai, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. PetroChina bekerjasama dengan kecamatan, kelurahan, kepolisian dan Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa) setempat dalam kegiatan disinfeksi ini.
Manajemen PetroChina juga terus berkoordinasi dengan SKK Migas dan institusi kesehatan terkait dalam penanganan COVID-19 di Jakarta dan Jambi.
Di tempat terpisah, Kepala Perwakilan SKK Migas Sumbagsel Adiyanto Agus Handoyo menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap apa yang telah dilakukan oleh PetroChina kepada masyarakat dan juga pemerintah di wilayah operasinya selama adanya wabah Covid-19 ini. “Hal ini tentunya bentuk kepedulian yang kemudian kami harapkan dapat membawa manfaat bagi masyarakat agar dapat terhindar dari wabah pandemi Covid-19 ini,” ujar Adiyanto.
Selanjutnya ia mengharapkan dampak positif adanya kegiatan hulu migas ini dapat dirasakan secara langsung oleh masyarakat. Salah satunya tentu dengan adanya bantuan dan peran dari PetroChina maupun KKKS lainnya yang disalurkan kepada masyarakat maupun pemerintah.
PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. merupakan Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) dan operator Blok Jabung di bawah pengawasan dan pengendalian SKK Migas. Dalam mengelola Blok Jabung, PetroChina bermitra dengan Pertamina dan Petronas Carigali. Selain menjadi operator Blok Jabung di Jambi, PetroChina juga sebagai operator Blok Bangko di Jambi.
