MERANGIN - Herman Efendi, ST. MM yang juga Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPRD) Kabupaten Merangin, Rabu (13/5/2020) mengunjungi Posko Covid-19 di Jalan Kesehatan samping Kantor Telkom Bangko. Kedatangan pensiunan TNI AD ini untuk menyerahkan bantuan pribadi untuk disalurkan kepada mereka yang terdampak Covid-19 di Merangin. Menjawab pertanyaan wartawan Herman Efendi mengatakan, dirinya dengan tulus ikhlas membagikan sebagian rezeki yang diterima untuk diserahkan kepada warga terdampak Covid-19 melalui Posko relawan Covid-19 Merangin. “Hari ini sengaja kami datang secara pribadi bukan sebagai ketua dewan, untuk berbagi kepada warga yang sangat membutuhkan. Utamanya warga Merangin terdampak Covid-19 di Merangin," kata Herman Effendi. Herman Efendi juga sangat mendukung, gerakan yang telah dilakukan wartawan yang tergabung dalam Persatuan Wartawan Merangin (PWM) yang telah peduli terhadap warga Merangin yang kini mengaami kesulitan ekonomi. “Secara pribadi maupun sebagai Ketua dewan Merangin kami sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan yang telah dilakukan para wartawan Merangin," ucapnya. Ketua Posko Relawan Covid-19 Merangin Andy Putra usai menerima bantuan pribadi dari Herman Effendi mengatakan, ucapan terimakasih kepada Herman Effendi yang telah menyisihkan sebagain rezekinya untuk disumbangkan kepada warga yang membutuhkan. “Kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada Abong Fendi yang telah mempercayakan penyaluran bantuannya lewat Posko Relawan Covid-19 Merangin," kata Andy Putra. Menurut Andy Putra, selain akan menyalurkan secepatnya bantuan yang telah diterima, juga Posko Covid-19 hingga saat ini masih tetap menerima bantuan dalam bentuk apapaun untuk disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang sangat membutuhkan. “Sebagian bantuan donatur sudah kami salurkan dan sebagian lainnya akan secepatnya kita salurkan. Kami masih menerima bantuan dari donatur untuk kami bantu salurkan," tandas Andy Putra.
