MUARABULIAN – Kepala Badan Keuangan Daerah (Bakeuda) kabupaten Batanghari, Muhammad Azan, SH mengaku anggaran santunan kematian untuk setiap warga Batanghari yang meninggal dunia di tahun ini tidak sepeserpun dipotong untuk penanganan wabah Covid-19.
"Untuk dana santunan kematian yang dianggarkan Pemkab Batanghari tahun ini tidak dipotong untuk penanganan Covid-19," kata Azan pekan lalu.
Azan mengaku, hingga pertengahan bulan Mei ini dana santunan kematian yang sudah disalurkan ke warga yang berhak sebanyak 60 orang.
"Alhamdulillah tidak ada kendala, sudah bayar untuk seluruh kecamatan ada sesuia data yang masuk. Walaupun adanya Covid-19. Dimana sampai saat ini untuk 60 orang sudah kita bayar, dan yang sudah masuk daftar tunggu akan segera diproses," kata Azan.
Untuk diketahui Pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari tahun ini mengalokasikan anggaran sebesar Rp 1,5 miliar untuk program santunan kematian setiap warga yang meninggal di wilayah Batanghari.
Santunan kematian ini sebagai dana belasungkawa dari pemerintah Batanghari sekaligus mendata jumlah warga Batanghari yang meninggal setiap tahun serta melihat tingkat lama harapan hidup warga Batanghari.
Kepala Bakeuda kabupaten Batanghari, Muhammad Azan, SH kepada media ini mengaku, di tahun 2020 Pemda Batanghari telah menganggarkan dana untuk santunan kematian lebih kurang sebesar Rp 1,5 milyar, dengan total kuota sebanyak 500 orang.
Azan mengaku, di tahun 2020 besaran dana santunan kematian yang diterima perorangnya masih sama seperti tahun 2019, yakni sebesar Rp 3 juta per orang. Namun kuota tahun 2020 meningkat dari tahun 2019, yakni sebanyak 500 orang.
Saat itu Azan mengaku dana santunan kematian tahun 2019 secara keseluruhan telah terealisasi kepada penerima manfaat.
Menurut Azan, santunan kematian ini merupakan salah satu program pemerintah Batanghari yang telah dicanangkan sejak beberapa tahun lalu.
