Pada kesempatan tersebut, Ketua TP PKK Provinsi Jambi memberikan masker secara simbolis kepada Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Timur, Ketua Bhayangkari Tanjung Jabung Timur, Ketua Persit Tanjung Jabung Timur, para camat dan Ketua TP PKK Kecamatan se Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur?
Rahima menjelaskan, dalam kondisi maraknya wabah dan kasus Covid-19, semua orang dan seluruh pihak harus sama-sama menerapkan Protokol Kesehatan Pencegahan Penyebaran Covid-19: mamakai masker ketika di luar rumah, mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun dan air bersih mengalir, dan menjaga jarak. Maka dari itu, Rahima mengungkapkan, menyikapi pandemi Covid-19, TP PKK harus memberikan partisipasi nyata kepada masyarakat, diantaranya Gebrak Masker. “Kader PKK harus turut mencegah penularan Covid-19,” tegas Rahima?
Rahima mengajak kader TP PKK se Provinsi Jambi menyukseskan pembagian sejuta masker se Provinsi Jambi. Selain itu, Rahima mengapresiasi antusias kader TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Timur dalam merespon Gebrak masker.
Staf Ahli Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur Bidang Politik dan Hukum Drs.Imron,M.TP mewakili Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur mengatakan, Gebrak Masker merupakan aksi nyata dalam mencegah penularan Covid-19.
Imron mengemukakan bahwa Gebrak Masker juga harus menekankan pemakaian masker yang benar, dan berharap agar PKK bisa menyosialisasikan bahwa keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menekan penularan Covid-19?
Imron mengatakan, Pemerintah telah memberikan berbagai bantuan kepada masyarakat, guna meringankan beban masyarakat yang sangat terdampak Covid-19.
Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Hj.Wirdayanti Romi mengemukakan, cuci tangan menggunakan sabun bukan hanya karena Covid-19, tetapi menjadikannya sebagai kebiasaan, untuk hidup bersih dan sehat.
Wirdayanti mengungkapkan, PKK turut mendorong terwujudnya masyarakarat yang bersih, sehat, dan rukun, dan kader TP PKK harus memberikan keteladanan.
Wirdayanti menegaskan bahwa TP PKK Tanjung Jabung Timur bertekad menyukseskan Gebrak Masker, untuk menekan penularan Covid-19.
Selanjutnya, Ketua TP PKK Provinsi Jambi, Hj.Rahima beserta Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur menuju RT 03 Kelurahan Talang Babat, Kecamatan Sabak Barat, Kabupaten Tanjung Timur untuk mendistribusikan masker kepada kader TP PKK dan kepada masyarakat.
