JAMBI - Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) Gubernur Jambi Ir.Restuardy (Ardy) Daud,M.Sc meninjau tambahan tempat isolasi bagi pasien terkonfirmasi Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi, yakni di Asrama Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Provinsi Jambi, Kota Baru, Kota Jambi, Selasa (13/10/2020) sore.
Pemerintah Provinsi dan Satuan Tugas Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi menyiapkan tambahan tempat isolasi bagi pasien Orang Tanpa Gejala (OTG) Covid-19. 70 tempat tidur telah siap untuk ditempati di BPSDM Provinsi Jambi tersebut. Hal ini merupakan upaya Satgas Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi untuk meningkatkan pelayanan penanganan Covid-19.
Pada kesempatan ini, Pjs.Gubernur didampingi Tim Satuan Tugas Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi, Kapolda Jambi Irjen Pol.Firman Shantyabudi, Korem 042/Gapu Brigjen M.Zulkifli, Asisten I Sekda Provinsi Jambi Apani Saharudin, Kepala BPBD Provinsi Jambi Bachyuni Deliansyah, Plt.Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jambi Reflizar, Wakil Wali Kota Jambi Maulana, Kepala Biro Humas dan Protokol Sekda Provinsi Jambi Johansyah, berserta para anggota lainnya.
Usai peninjauan, Ardy Daud menjelaskan, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi dan Satuan Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi terus berupaya bekerja sama dalam penanganan Covid-19, salah satunya menyiapkan Asrama BPSDM Provinsi Jambi sebagai tambahan rumah isolasi untuk pengendalian dan percepatan penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi. “Pada hari ini kita bersama tim Satuan Tugas Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi langsung turun melihat persiapan tambahan tempat isolasi, yang kita harapkan bisa menampung pasien terkonfirmasi Covid-19 yang akhir-akhir ini jumlahnya meningkat secara signifikan,” kata Ardy Daud.
“Kita dari Tim Satgas Covid-19 Provinsi Jambi, Tim Satgas Kota Jambi terus mengamati pergerakan angka, terus bergerak naik. Mengingat saat ini jumlah pasien positif Covid-19 terus mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan daya tampung rumah sakit kita terbatas bagi pasien Covid-19,” lanjut Ardy Daud.
Ardy Daud mengatakan, Asrama BPSDM Provinsi Jambi dapat menampung pasien Covid-19 tanpa gejala sebanyak 70 tempat tidur, dokter dan para medis disiagakan.
Selain itu, Ardy Daud mengajak masyarakat di Provinsi Jambi untuk bersama-sama dan senantiasa displin melaksanakan Protokol Kesehatan Pencegahan Penyebaran Covid-19, yaitu dengan cara selalu memakai masker saat di luar rumah, cuci tangan menggunakan sabun dan air yang mengalir, menjaga jarak, dan menghindari kerumunan. “Dengan cara itulah kita bisa menekan dan memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi secara efektif,” tegas Ardy Daud.
Sebelumnya, pada Rabu, 30 September 2020, Ardy Daud meninjau salah satu Gedung di Rumah Sakit Raden Mattaher, yakni gedung 6 (enam) lantai untuk segera dilanjutkan pembangunannya, sebagai tempat isolasi bagi pasien OTG (Orang Tanpa Gejala) Covid-19.
