MUAROJAMBI - Oknum anggota Polres Muarojambi dikabarkan tertangkap oleh Sat Narkoba Polres Tanjungjabung Timur. Oknum polisi tersebut ditangkap bersama dua rekannya pada Selasa (20/10/20) lalu.
Oknum polisi tersebut berinisial G. Saat ditangkap, dari tangan G, Petugas menyita barang bukti berupa 10 paket kecil sabu yang berada di dalam tas milik G.
Kapolres Muarojambi AKBP Ardiyanto melalui Kasubbag Humasnya AKP Amradi membenarkan penangkapan tersebut. Kata dia, oknum yang ditangkap tersebut berpangkat Bripka.
"Memang benar yang berinisial G itu adalah anggota Polres Muarojambi berdinas di Sat Sabhara berpangkat Bripka," kata Kapolres Muarojambi AKBP Ardiyanto melalui Kasubbag Humasnya AKP Amradi, Sabtu (24/10/20).
Oknum tersebut ditangkap oleh Sat Narkoba Polres Tanjungjabung Timur. Saat ini, proses penyidikan diserahkan sepenuhnya ke Polres Tanjabtim.
"Tertangkap oleh Sat Narkoba Polres Tanjabtim. Semua diserahkan ke penyidik polres Sabak," kata Amradi.
Lebih lanjut, Amradi menyebutkan, sesuai arahan Kapolda Jambi Irjen Pol Firman Santyabudi bahwa Narkoba adalah musuh bersama. Untuk itu, sebagai penegak hukum, polisi juga harus taat terhadap hukum yang berlaku.
"Dan Kapolres Muarojambi AKBP Ardiyanto pun dengan tegas menyampaikan bahwa tidak ada ampun bagi yang memakai narkoba, begitu juga bagi anggota lain yang di Polres Muarojambi," kata Amradi.
