JAMBI– Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto, meninjau langsung beberapa titik jalan rusak yang tersebar di beberapa desa di kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Senin kemarin (23/11/2020).
Saat melakukan peninjauan, Edi didampingi oleh beberapa Kepala Desa setempat. Adapun ruas jalan provinsi yang rusak tersebut tersebar mulai dari Desa Sakean, Tarikan, Arang-Arang, Sipin sampai Desa Pemunduran kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu kabupaten Muaro Jambi.
Edi yang juga didampingi Kabid Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi Jambi mengatakan dirinya akan meminta UPTD Workshop dan Perlengkapan Dinas PUPR provinsi (Alkal, red) untuk segera melakukan penanganan awal. “Kalo kita rigid beton, tahu sendiri kan anggaran kita sekarang, APBD kita turun dibanding tahun lalu, tapi nanti kami minta Alkal untuk segera atasi, pertolongan pertama dulu lah,” terang Edi.
Selanjutnya Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi ini meminta Perusahaan Perkebunan Sawit yang berada di kawasan kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu sekitarnya untuk turut memberikan kontribusi pada perawatan dan pembangunan jalan.
“Pak kades tadi laporan, banyak mobil angkutan sawit yang lewat jalan ini, memang ada perusahaan sawit yang peduli, tapi masih banyak juga yang belum, jadi kami minta perusahan sekitar juga memperhatikan kondisi jalan,” papar Edi.
Dalam perjalanan meninjau kondisi jalan, Edi dan rombongan berpapasan dengan satu truk angkutan yang terperosok di salah satu titik jalan rusak. Saat rombongan menuju arah pulang ke kota Jambi, angkutan tersebut belum berhasil berpindah dari tempat terperosoknya. (*)
