JAMBI – Untuk kali keempat, KKKS Pertamina EP (PEP) Jambi Field memperoleh Piagam CSR dari Forum Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Kota Jambi. Penyerahan Piagam Penyaluran Program CSR atau Tanggung Jawab Sosial (TJS) Kota Jambi dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 22 Desember 2020 di salah satu hotel Kota Jambi.
Walikota Jambi, Dr. H. Syarif Fasha, ME., menyerahkan langsung Piagam CSR kepada Pelaku Usaha yang telah menyalurkan Program CSR tahun 2020 di Kota Jambi dan diterima langsung oleh Jambi Field Manager, Hermansyah.
“Piagam ini sebagai bentuk apresiasi Pemerintah dan Forum CSR Kota Jambi kepada Pelaku Usaha yang telah menyalurkan Program CSR untuk masyarakat Kota Jambi,” terang Syarif Fasha dalam sambutannya.
Tahun ini, PEP Jambi melakukan pendampingan berbagai program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berada di Kota Jambi. Program unggulan yang dibina PEP Jambi antara lain: membentuk Kelompok Pengrajin Batik Serumpun Berlian dan Kampung Bersinar (Bersih dari Narkoba) sekaligus mengkampanyekan Gentala (Gerakan Tanpa Penyalahgunaan Narkoba) serta pengembangan sablon tematik anti narkoba di Desa Legok, Kota Jambi, membentuk Rumbai (Rumah Baca Pertamina) dan Gerai Energi (Green Edu Agrowista Rumbai Energi) melalui program budidaya tanaman hidroponik di Kelurahan Kenali Asam Atas, Kotabaru.
“Terima kasih atas apresiasi yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah Kota Jambi. Piagam ini menjadikan motivasi PEP Jambi untuk terus meningkatkan kontribusi positif bagi lingkungan sekitar dan masyarakat yang berada di wilayah kerja PEP Jambi pada khususnya,” ungkap Hermansyah, Jambi Field Manager.
Sebelumnya, di tahun ini PEP Jambi juga menerima penghargaan dari Bupati Muaro Jambi. Penghargaan ini diperoleh PEP Jambi sebagai perusahaan dengan kategori baik dalam pengelolaan Limbah B3. Penghargaan ini diterima pada peringatan Hari Lingkungan Hidup se-Dunia pada bulan September lalu.
"Kami sadar bahwa kegiatan operasi produksi migas bersinggungan dengan limbah B3, karenanya kami selalu mengedepankan aspek Health, Safety, Security, and Environment dalam pelaksaan kegiatan di lapangan serta senantiasa berkomitmen untuk tumbuh bersama lingkungan dan masyarakat," urai Asset 1 Legal & Relation Pertamina EP, Himawan Djatmiko.
Tak hanya bantuan Tanggung Jawab Sosial, kontribusi aktif PEP Jambi dalam rangka penanggulangan pandemi Covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi juga memperoleh apresiasi dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Pada bulan Oktober lalu, Kepala DLH menyerahkan Piagam Penghargaan kepada PEP Jambi. Selama pandemi Covid-19, PEP Jambi memberikan bantuan sembako bagi masyarakat yang terdampak pandemi yang berada di 9 Desa dan 5 Kecamatan di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi.
