MUARABULIAN – Musibah kebakaran masih terjadi di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari. Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan setempat mencatat ada 24 kasus kebakaran terjadi di wilayah Batanghari selama tahun 2020, Rabu (06/01). Kabid Penanggulangan Kebakaran Dinas Damkartan kabupaten Batanghari, Amir Hamzah mengatakan, dari puluhan kasus kebakaran yang ditemukan tersebut, yakni bangunan jenis permanen paling banyak ditemukan. “Kasus kebakaran di Batanghari paling banyak didominasi terhadap bangunan permanen seperti rumah. Namun, ditahun 2020, hampir tidak ditemukan kasus kebakaran lahan,” katanya. Amir bilang, dugaan penyebab kebakaran di dominasi rata-rata oleh korsleting listrik, dan paling banyak kasus kebakaran tersebut ditemukan di Kecamatan Muara Bulian. “Rata-rata penyebab kebakaran dikarenakan konsleting listrik, alhasil kerugian materil diperkirakan kurang lebih mencapai 2,4 miliyar rupiah, dan menyebabkan 1 orang cidera dari kasus kebakaran yang terjadi selama tahun 2020,”ujarnya. Amir menambahkan, untuk kasus kebakaran selama 2020 ini, bisa dikatakan turun drastis jika dibandingkan pada tahun 2019 lalu.
“Kasus kebakaran di tahun 2020 mengalami penurunan yang sangat drastis, dimana tahun 2019 lalu kasus kebakaran mencapai 215 kasus, yang didominasi kasus kebakaran pada lahan. Sementara untuk di 2020 hanya ditemukan 24 kasus, dan kasus kebakaran lahan hanya ada satu kasus,” terangnya.
