Mashuri,  di dampingi oleh Kapolsek Bangko dan KBO Sat Intelkam Polres Merangin telah melaksanakan kegiatan Penebaran benih ikan (restocking) dalam rangka pemulihan ekosistim sumber daya perikanan di lubuk larangan desa Baru Nalo, Kecamatan Batang Masumai, Kabupaten Merangin. 

Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam rangka  menindak lanjuti pemulihan ekosistim sumber daya perikanan di lubuk larangan dan sekaligus mengatasi permasalahan ekonomi masyarakat di masa Pandemi Covid19, menjaga kearifan lokal dan mencegah timbulnya masalah sosial yang dapat berdampak terhadap situasi Kamtibmas seiring dengan kegiatan Penertiban PETI yang dilaksanakan oleh Polres Merangin.

Kapolres Merangin menjelaskan bahwa *tidak hanya melakukan penertiban terhadap pelaku Peti namun Polres Merangin juga bersinergi bersama Pemerintah Daerah mendorong seluruh Dinas instansi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan - kegiatan yang dapat membantu masyarakat dan mengangkat ekonomi rakyat. "Salah satu contoh yang dilaksanakan saat ini yaitu restocking ikan di lubuk larangan," tegas Kapolres Merangin.

Wakil Bupati Merangin Mashuri dalam kesempatan tersebut meminta kepada masyarakat Desa Baru Nalo untuk tidak melakukan kegiatan yang dapat mencemari ataupun merusak lingkungan dan kembali menjaga kelestarian alam khususnya di sepanjang aliran sungai yang menjadi sumber kehidupan bagi masyarakat "Semoga bantuan benih ikan "Kelemak" sebanyak 2000 (dua ribu) ekor bisa dinikmati hasilnya hingga anak cucu," kata Wabup Mashuri. 

Sebelum mengakhiri kegiatan, Ketua Lembaga adat Desa Baru Nalo mengucapkan terimakasih kepada Polres Merangin dan Pemerintah Daerah berkat keseriusannya dalam melakukan penindakan kegiatan Peti. "Sekarang kondisi sungai sudah kembali normal sehingga masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan airnya untuk kebutuhan sehari hari serta berharap kepada seluruh masyarakat desa Baru Nalo untuk kembali menjaga kearifan lokal lubuk larangan demi kesejahteraan masyarakat," tandasnya.
