MUARABULIAN - Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) kabupaten Batangahari pada Senin (1/2/2021) melaksanakan Rapat Paripurna dengan agenda peresmian dan pengucapan sumpah Wakil Ketua (Waka) DPRD Batanghari sisa masa jabatan 2019 – 2024.
Dimana M Jaafar, SH secara resmi menggantikan jabatan Wakil Ketua I DPRD kabupaten Batanghari yang sebelumnya dijabat oleh Hj. Yunninta Asmara, SH karena Yunninta Asmara ikut mencalonkan diri sebagai Calon Bupati Batanghari pada Pilkada 2020. Sehingga sesuai aturan yang bersangkutan mengundur diri dari anggota DPRD Batanghari periode 2019-2024.
Hal ini juga berdasarkan surat keputusan gubernur No 90/Kep.Gub/Setda.PEM-ODA-2.1/2021 tentang pengangkatan Wakil Ketua DPRD kabupaten Batanghari Provinsi Jambi sisa masa jabatan 2019 – 2024.
Rapat paripurna ini dipimpin oleh Ketua DPRD Batanghari, Anita Yasmin, SE didampingi Waka Ilhamuddin dan Setwan DPRD M Ali, SE.
Turut hadir pada acara tersebut Bupati Batanghari yang diwakili Asisten I Setda Batanghari Drs Hendri Jumiral MM, para aAnggota DPRD Batanghari, unsur Forkopimda serta tamu undangan lainnya.
Ketua DPRD Batanghari, Anita Yasmin, SE mengatakan, untuk mengisi kekosongan Wakil Ketua I DPRD kabupaten Batanghari, agar dapat memaksimalkan fungsi dan tugas dalam menampung aspirasi masyarakat kabupaten Batanghari.
”Alhamdulillah, hari ini sudah dilaksanakan pelantikan dan pengucapan sumpah kepada M Jaafar, SH untuk mengemban tugas sebagai Wakil Ketua I DPRD Batanghari yang depenitif,” ucap Anita Yasmin, SE.
Anita Yasmin juga berharap semoga kedepannya kinerja dari pada DPRD makin maksimal, dan dapat menyerap aspirasi masyarakat kabupaten Batanghari,” harapnya.
Terpisah M Jaafar, SH menyampaikan, ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh unsur pimpinan dan anggota DPRD kabupaten Batanghari, sehingga kegiatan pelantikan dan pengucapan sumpah berjalan dengan lancar.
Tak hanya itu, Jaafar juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh Ketua dan pengurus partai politik Golongan Karya (Golkar) mulai dari tingkat Pusat, Provinsi hingga ke tingkat Kabupaten,” kata Jaafar.
Ia juga mengatakan, setelah menjabat sebagai unsur Pimpinan di DPRD kabupaten Batanghari pada program kerjasama seperti unsur pimpinan pada umumnya yaitu menampung dan menyerap seluruh aspirasi dari masyarakat.
”Insya Allah, sebagai unsur pimpinan di DPRD kabupaten Batanghari akan selalu siap menampung aspirasi masyarakat Batanghari,” sebutnya.
