MUAROJAMBI - Sebanyak 142 personil Polres Muarojambi akan dilibatkan dalam rangka mengantisipasi arus mudik serta mencegah terjadinya pulang kampung antar Kabupaten Kota dalam wilayah Provinsi Jambi.
Selain itu Polres Muarojambi juga akan mendirikan sebanyak 2 Pos Cek Point.
Kapolres Muarojambi AKBP Ardiyanto, SIK, MH kepada awak media menyampaikan, bahwa berdasarkan Surat Edaran Menteri Perhubungan, seiring dengan meningkatnya Kasus Penyebaran Covid-19, Pemerintah Provinsi telah menerapkan Pemberlakukan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat, dan ini telah ditindaklanjuti oleh Gubernur Jambi Bahwa Masyarakat Jambi dilarang Mudik atau Pulang Kampung.
Karnanya Polres Muarojambi menyikapi hal itu akan mendirikan Lima Pos Cek Point yang disebar dibeberapa wilayah perbatasan, seperti batas Jambi Palembang, Jambi Sumatera Barat dan Jambi Riau.
"Saya perintahkan Wakapolres dan Kabag Ops untuk menindaklanjutinya, dan untuk kita diperintahkan untuk melakukan penjagaan dibatas Jambi-Palembang, namun itu terlalu jauh. Saya sedang berkomunikasi dengan Dirlantas untuk dapat dilakukan di Pal 11 tepatnya di Desa Pondok Meja," kata Kapolres.
Kapolres Muarojambi menegaskan kepada jajarannya agar segera mendirikan Pos Cek Point. "Untuk ditindak lanjuti maksimal tanggal 5 Mei 2021, Pos Sudah berdiri dan sudah bisa untuk melakukan Cek Point mencegah masyarakat yang akan mudik," katanya.
Apabila diketahui ada Armada Transportasi Darat yang masih tetap nekat melakukan pengangkutan penumpang ataupun masyarakat, agar dilakukan tindakan tegas, dan berkordinasi dengan Tim Gugus Tugas untuk dikembalikan ke daerah asalnya dan diberikan pengertian dengan tegas namun tetap humanis.
