Hal tersebut ditegaskan Wabup Merangin H Mashuri di damping Kadis Pekerjaan Umum Aspan dan Kepala Bappeda Agus, ketika memantau pelaksanaan pembangunan gedung empat lantai tersebut, Senin (28/6/2021).
‘’Kalau kita lihat kondisi bangunan dan lapangan ini sekarang, maka kantor bupati Merangin yang baru ini belum bisa ditempati. Kita masih akan membenahi finishingnya,’’ujar Wabup

Selain itu wabup menerangkan, di kawasan kantor baru bupati Merangin itu, juga akan dibangun komplek perkantoran public terpadu, sehingga kedepan pelayanan masyarakat bisa dilakukan sebaik-baiknya pada satu kawasan.
‘’Ini akan memudahkan masyarakat karena tempat pelayanan publik sudah satu kawasan,  masyarakat yang punya urusan pemerintahan, tidak perlu harus ke lokasi lainnya seperti sekarang ini,’’terang Wabup.
