JAMBI- Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto menyebut DPRD akan mendukung usulan pembangunan rumah sakit khusus covid-19 di Provinsi Jambi jika memang berdasarkan kajian tim gugus tugas itu menjadi keharusan.
Apalagi Persiden Jokowi mewanti-wanti Provinsi Jambi termasuk 10 Provinsi yang belakangan ini kasus covid-19 nya tinggi.
"Ini yang kita takutkan, ketika memang tinggi kita harus punya solusi, di mana rumah sakit khsus covid-19 sehingga fokus di situ semua," kata Edi.
Hanya saja kata Edi, perlu kajian-kajian yang melibatkan banyak stake holeder seperti IDI, PPNI, sehingga tidak ada efek negatif atau penolakan dari kelompok masyarakat. "Tapi urgensinya hari ini kita butuh," ujarnya.
Namun menurut Politisi PDIP tersebut baginya jauh lebih urgent hari ini mengajak semua rumah sakit yang ada untuk menerima atau menjadi rujukan pasien covid-19. Artinya semua rumah sakit menyiapkan ruangan bagi pasien covid-19.
"Dua hal ini harus dikaji, karena kita harus memikirkan mobilisasi pasien. Misalnya ada satu rumah sakit khusus covid di Kota Jambi, bagaimana pasien yang tinggal di Kerinci kan jauh rujukanya," tambah Edi.
Sebab, jika dibuat satu rumah sakit khusus covid-19 maka semua tenaga ahli dibidang covid-19 ditarik ke sana. Maka di daerah lain akan kekurangan.
Yang terpenting saat ini, menurutnya jangan sampai ada rumah sakit yang kekurangan ruang ICU. Ke dua jangan sampai ada pasien yang butuh pentilator tapi tidak ada. Kemudian ruang isolasi penuh tetap ada.
"Saya setuju ide ada rumah sakit khusus ini, tapi kalau boleh memilih saya lebih setuju semua rumah sakit wajib punya ruangan covid-19, menyediakan ruangan khusus pasien covid-19. Wajib hukumnya tidak boleh ada rumah sakit yang menolak itu," pungkasnya.
