JAMBI - Upaya menekan lonjakan kasus Covid-19 melalui upaya pengetatan atau Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat Level IV tidak serta merta dilakukan tanpa adanya perhatian dan bantuan terutama sembako untuk masyarakat, hal ini yang menjadi penegasan saat Gubernur Jambi Dr.H.Al Haris,S.Sos.,M.H, secara simbolis menyerahkan bantuan 30 ribu Paket Sembako senilai 4,5 miliar rupiah kepada Wali Kota Jambi H.Syarif Fasha di Kantor Kecamatan Telanaipura, Rabu (18/8/21).
"Mengambil langkah untuk menekan Covid-19 di Kota Jambi tapi tidak mengabaikan hak masyarakat tetap dibantu dengan paket sembako," ungkap Gubernur Jambi.
Gubernur Jambi menegaskan dirinya tidak ingin pengetatan guna menekan kasus Covid-19 namun hak kebutuhan dasar masyarakat tidak mendapat bantuan hal tersebut tidak boleh terjadi.
"Kita selaku pemerintah juga salah jika masyarakat mengeluh susah dan Pak Wali Kota Jambi akan melakukan pengetatan setelah bantuan ini terbagi dalam dua hari yang saat ini sudah siap 22 ribu paket sembako," terang Gubernur Jambi.
Bantuan Paket Sembako senilai Rp.150.000,- berisi beras 5 kilogram, gula 1 kilogram, terigu 1 kilogram, sarden 2 kaleng, kecap manis 2 botol, saus sambal 2 botol, indomie kari 5 bungkus, indomie goreng 5 bungkus.
Sedangkan bantuan lain juga telah dipersiapkan Gubernur Jambi H.Al Haris untuk masyarakat terdampak Covid-19 melalui PT.Pos Indonesia menyalurkan bantuan Jaring Pengaman Sosial Covid-19 untuk tiga bulan masing-masing senilai Rp.300.000,- dibagikan pada masyarakat Provinsi Jambi.
Penyerahan bantuan untuk masyarakat Kota Jambi juga dihadiri Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto, Sekda Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi H.Sudirman,S.H,M.H, Forkopimda, serta pihak penerima bantuan dari Kelurahan se Kecamatan Telanaipura.
