BATANGHARINEWS.COM, JAMBI - Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Jambi Menggelar Rapat Paripurna dalam rangka untuk memperingati Hari Jadi ke-65 Provinsi Jambi Tahun 2022.Kamis (6/1/2022).
Rapat Paripurna dipimpin langsung Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto didampingi Wakil Ketua I Faisal Riza, Waka II Pinto Jayanegara dan Waka III Burhanuddin Mahir. Hadir Gubernur Jambi Al Haris, Wakil Gubernur Jambi Abdullah Sani.
Dalam sambutannya, Edi Purwanto menyampaikan atas nama pimpinan dan anggota DPRD Provinsi Jambi mengucapkan dirgahayu Provinsi Jambi. Edi berharap di Hari Jadi ke-65 semoga Jambi semakin jaya dan sejahtera.
Sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Jambi Nomor 1 Tahun 1970, papar Edi, telah menetapkan tanggal 6 Januari sebagai Hari Jadi Provinsi Jambi. Hari yang bersejarah ini DPRD Provinsi Jambi menggelar Rapat Paripurna sebagai ungkapan syukur kepada Allah SWT atas Hari Jadi provinsi Jambi yang ke-65.
Alhamdulillah, dengan Semboyan ”Sepucuk Jambi Sembilan Lurah”, masyarakat provinsi Jambi mampu menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan, dan bergotong royong membangun Jambi demi peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat sebagaimana cita-cita para orang tua kita pencetus berdirinya provinsi Jambi.
Kepada Pemerintahan Provinsi Jambi, Edi mengharapkan agar mampu menyelesaikan berbagai Pekerjaan Rumah yang masih tersisa, mulai dari peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik, peningkatan Pendapatan Daerah, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan pelayanan kesehatan, pembangunan infrastruktur dan peningkatan status jalan.
Selain itu, lanjut Edi juga masih ada konflik lahan yang masih tersisa belum terselesaikan, perluasan lapangan kerja, peningkatan pertumbuhan dan pemerataan ekonomi, penyelesaian permasalahan Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin (PETI) dan Illegal Drilling, Mengatasi Pencemaran Sungai Batanghari, Solusi jangka panjang terhadap lalu lintas Angkutan Batubara dan sejenisnya, Mengatasi Banjir, dan lain-lain.
Dilanjutkan Edi, kita juga patut berbangga bahwa baru-baru ini Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi telah meraih 7 penghargaan dari beberapa Kementerian Republik Indonesia dan Media Group.
"Diantaranya terkait Peningkatan Produksi Padi dan Ekspor Komoditas Pertanian Tertinggi, Daerah Peduli Perlindungan Konsumen, Penetapan Warisan Budaya Tak Benda Indonesia, Produktifitas Mahakarya dan Penghargaan dari Menteri Dalam Negeri RI sebagai Provinsi yang Sangat Inovatif," sampainya.
"Alhamdulillah, sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas kepedulian terhadap lingkungan hidup, DPRD Provinsi Jambi menerima penghargaan Green Leadership Nirwasita Tantra 2021 dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK),"ucapnya.
Edi juga menyampaikan terima kasih dan apresiasi atas kesigapan TNI dan Polri dalam upaya pencegahan Karhutla, Illegal Mining, Illegal Drilling dan Pengendalian Lalu Lintas Angkutan Batubara.
Untuk diketahui, peringatan Hari Jadi ke-65 Provinsi Jambi Tahun 2022 kali ini mengambil tema ”MARI KITA MANTAPKAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DAN DAERAH MENUJU JAMBI MANTAP 2024”.
