Aplikasi yang merupakan inovasi dari Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DPPKB) Merangin tersebut jelas M Zubir, dilaunching dalam upaya mempercepat penurunan angka stunting di Bumi Tali Undang Tambang Teliti Merangin.
‘’Jadi Aplikasi ini dibangun untuk mendeteksi faktor resiko stunting dari seorang calon pengantin,’’ujar Asisten III Setda Merangin didampingi Kadis PPKB Merangin Abdaie usai membuka slubung logo aplikasi tersebut, sebagai tanda dilaunching.
Abdaie didampingi Sekretaris BKKBN Provinsi Jambi Yudi Hendra Musprizal menjelaskan, beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya stunting adalah, pernikahan yang dilakukan diusia dini dan status gizi yang tidak sehat, seperti anemia dan KEK (Kekurangan Energi Kronis).
Dengan dilaunchingnya aplikasi ini harapkan Kadis DPPKB Merangin, semua calon pengantin wanita, tiga bulan sebelum menikah betul-betul terskrining status Kesehatan dan gizinya untuk mempesiapkan kehamilan yang sehat tanpa resiko.
‘’Saya yakin, melalui Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) yang telah terbentuk di semua kecamatan dan desa yang sudah berkali-kali dilatih, program ini akan berjalan sesuai dengan yang kita  harapkan,’’harap Abdaie.
Untuk menyukseskan program tersebut lanjut Abdaie, tentunya tidak terlepas dari pantauan dan bimbingan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) terkait, kecamatan dan desa, supaya mereka dapat menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik dan benar.
Dinas PPKB Merangin tegas Abdaie, juga melakukan edukasi terhadap remaja-remaja mengenai cara dan langkah menyusun perencanaan membangun keluarga yang berkualitas dan bebas stunting.
