Jakarta – 25 April 2022. Prospek penemuan migas di Indonesia masih menarik. Dari lima sumur eksplorasi yang sudah selesai di bor oleh Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) pada triwulan I 2022, sebanyak empat sumur mencatatkan discovery (penemuan). Capaian tersebut mencatatkan success ratio penemuan sumur eksplorasi mencapai 80%.
Jika dibandingkan denngan penemuan sumur eksplorasi tahun 2021 yang mencatatkan success ratio 55% dan global success ratio (IHS) yang mencapai 23,8%, penemuan sumur eksplorasi di triwulan pertama 2022 mencatatkan kinerja yang sangat baik.
Kepala Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas) Dwi Soetjipto menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) yang telah menorehkan capaian yang membanggakan dalam pemboran sumur eksplorasi. “Upaya SKK Migas dengan terus mendorong KKKS menggalakkan kegiatan eksplorasi telah menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan. Kami menyampaikan terima kasih atas inisiatif dan kerja keras dari KKKS sehingga kinerja pengeboran sumur eksplorasi di triwulan pertama 2022 mencatatkan capaian yang baik. Ini tentu akan memberikan semangat bagi kami untuk terus menggiatkan kegiatan eksplorasi dimasa mendatang, mengingat dari 128 potensi cekungan migas di Indonesia, yang sudah berproduksi baru 20 cekungan”, kata Dwi.
Lebih lanjut Dwi menambahkan total sumber daya yang dihasilkan dari 4 penemuan sumur eksplorasi dengan potensi sumber daya mencapai sekitar 197 MMBOE yang berasal dari Anambas-2X yang dioperasikan oleh Kupec Anambas, MPT-1X yang dioperasikan oleh Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, GASOP D SOUTH-1 yang dioperasikan oleh Sele Raya Merangin Dua dan SGET-001 yang dioperasikan oleh Pertamina EP.
Untuk triwulan pertama 2022, jumlah aktivitas sumur pemboran eksplorasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu. Untuk tahun 2022 sumur pemboran eksplorasi mencapai 5 sumur, atau lebih tinggi 125% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun 2021 yang mencapai 4 sumur. “Memperhatikan success ratio yang tinggi, dapat dikatakan prospek penemuan migas di Indonesia masih menarik. SKK Migas akan mengawal KKKS untuk dapat merealisasikan seluruh program tajak sumur eksplorasi yang di tahun 2022 ditargetkan sebanyak 51 sumur eksplorasi. Jika success ratio bisa dipertahankan seperti capaian di triwulan pertama 2022, maka diakhir tahun akan mendapatkan tambahan cadangan migas yang signifikan”, ujar Dwi.
“Upaya untuk merealisasikan target jangka panjang 2030 yaitu produksi minyak 1 juta barel per hari (BOPD) dan gas sebanyak 12 miliar kaki kubik per hari (BSCFD), salah satunya adalah bagaimana dapat terus ditemukan cadangan migas, tidak hanya dalam jumlah penemuan untuk dapat menggantikan cadangan migas yang diproduksi tiap tahunnya, tetapi penemuan yang melampui produksi migas sehingga cadangan migas akan bertambah dan dapat diproduksi secara berkelanjutan dengan jumlah yang semakin besar”, imbuh Dwi.
“Tantangan selanjutnya dari setiap penemuan cadangan migas, adalah seberapa cepat bisa di konversi dari cadangan menjadi produksi. SKK Migas terus mendorong KKKS untuk segera menyusun plan of development (POD) dari setiap penemuan cadangan migas, agar potensi yang ada dapat segera di produksi dan menambah lifting migas nasional”, terang Dwi.
