MERANGIN - Bupati Merangin H Mashuri minta semua mitra kerja dan seluruh lapisan masyarakat, untuk bersama-sama berkolaborasi serius mempercepat penurunan angka stunting di Kabupaten Merangin. Hal tersebut ditegaskan bupati, saat membuka rapat koordinas (Rakor) Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Kabupaten Merangin 2022, di Aula Hotel Merangin, Rabu (09/6/22). Pada acara yang diikuti seluruh kepala Puskesmas se-Kabupaten Merangin dan TPPS Merangin itu, bupati sangat mengharapkan angka stunting di Merangin bisa diturunkan secepat mungkin, sehingga pada 2024 Merangin bebas stunting. ‘’Kita ingin seluruh anak Merangin tumbuh normal, sehat dan pintar-pintar, untuk itu lakukan pemantauan Stunting ini mulai dari warga yang akan menikah hingga nanti punya anak, sehingga anaknya tumbuh normal,’’ujar Bupati. Ajakan bupati tersebut, juga diperkuat dengan terbitnya Peraturan BKKBN RI Nomor 12 tahun 2021, tentang rencana aksi nasional percepatan penurunan angka stunting Indonesia 2021 – 2024. Peraturan BKKBN RI Nomor 12 tahun 2021 itu, merupakan pedoman turunan dari Perpres Nomor 72 tahun 2021, sehingga terjadi perubahan susunan keanggotaan Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting kabupaten. ‘’Tujuan dari rakor hari ini adalah, agar terbentuknya komitmen dan terjalinnya koordinasi antara TPPS Kabupaten Merangin, serta adanya pemahaman yang sama dalam mendukung intervensi spesifik dan intervensi sensitif dalam percepatan penurunan stunting di Kabupaten Merangin. Penguratan percepatan penurunan stunting lanjut bupati, dilakukan dari hulu ke hilir. Artinya intervensi dilakukan bukan hanya pada saat 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan, sejak ibu hamil hingga anak beusaia dua tahun. Tetapi intervensi juga harus dilakukan mulai dari remaja dan calon pengantin, selain itu intervensi juga harus dilakukan melalui pendekatan multi sektor dan ,multipihak melalui Pentahelix yaitu, menyediakan platform kerjasama antara Pemerintah dan unsur pemangku kepentingan (Dunia usaha, Perguruan tinggi, masyarakat dan media). Rakor itu dihadiri, Kepala BKKBN Provinsi Jambi Dr Munawar Ibrahim SKP MPH sebagai narasumber, Sekda Merangin Fajarman, Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana H Apdaie. Selain itu juga tampak hadir Kepala Bappeda Kabupaten Merangin Dr Agus Zainudin Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Merangin Drg Sonny Propesma dan sejumlah pejabat lainnya.
