JAMBI - Dalam rangka menyukseskan Pemilu 2024, Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol) Provinsi Jambi menyelenggarakan Rapat Koordinasi Politik Se-Provinsi Jambi pada tahun anggaran 2024 Persiapan Pemilu Serentak tahun 2024. Rakor Politik ini mengusung tema "Sinergitas Pemerintah Daerah dan Penyelenggara Pemilu dalam menyukseskan pemilu serentak 2024", bertempat di Golden Harvest Hotel, Kamis (01/02/2024).
Rakor Politik ini dibuka dan dipimpin langsung oleh Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos., MH dengan didampingi oleh Ketua Bawaslu Provinsi Jambi, Komisioner KPU Provinsi Jambi, dan Polda Jambi.
Dalam sambutan dan arahannya Gubernur Al Haris mengatakan, dinamika pemilu tahun ke tahun mengalami perbedaan dimulai dari masyarakat sampai kepada elit politik termasuk juga penyelenggara yang merupakan satu kesatuan elemen yang tak terpisahkan satu sama lain.
"Kita harus terus bersinergi dalam menyiapkan dan menyukseskan Pemilu dan Pilkada Serentak 2024 di Provinsi Jambi, apalagi Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden serta Pemilihan Legislatif akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Februari 2024, tinggal 13 hari lagi, waktu yang tidak lama lagi," kata Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris mengungkapkan, salah satu indikator utama keberhasilan pelaksanaan Pemilu dan Pilkada serentak adalah tingkat partisipasi pemilih. Pada pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak tahun 2020 jumlah partisipasi pemilih secara nasional 76,09%, angka ini masih di bawah target dalam RPJMN 2015-2019 sebesar 77,5%.
“Harapan kita bersama agar kesuksesan pencapaian target partisipasi pemilih dapat terulang atau lebih tinggi pada pelaksanaan Pemilu dan Pilkada serentak pada tahun 2024. Target tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam Pemilu dan Pilkada tahun 2024 dalam RPJMN 2020-2024 sebesar 79,5%. Indikator selanjutnya dalam mengukur sukses Pemilu dan Pilkada adalah situasi tertib dan tentram dalam pelaksanaan Pemilu serentak tahun 2024,” ungkap Gubernur Al Haris.
Dijelaskan Gubernur Al Haris, tahun 2024 akan menjadi Pemilu kolosal pertama di dunia karena pelaksanaan Pemilu dan Pilkada akan direncanakan pada waktu bersamaan di tahun tersebut. Besar harapan pemerintah untuk menyukseskan Pemilu dan Pilkada melalui peningkatan partisipasi politik.
“Dalam rangka sukses Pemilu dan Pilkada serentak tahun 2024 tentu saja dibutuhkan dukungan pemerintah dan pemerintah daerah, yaitu Fasilitasi dukungan regulasi dan anggaran Pilkada, Peran aktif Kesbangpol dalam setiap tahapan, Menjaga stabilitas politik dan keamanan, Sosialisasi pelaksanaan Pemilu dan Pilkada, dan Penguatan fungsi komunikasi dan teknologi,” jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Al Haris juga berpesan dalam upaya meningkatkan kesiapan untuk menyelenggarakan Pemilu. Pesan Gubernur tersebut adalah sebagai berikut:
Pertama, Pastikan data final DPT (Daftar Pemilih Tetap) di seluruh kabupaten dan kota se-Provinsi Jambi. Kedua, Kotak suara, kertas suara, tinta, dan seluruh logistik Pemilu agar didistribusikan dan sampai ditempat tujuan tepat waktu. Ketiga, Pastikan semua petugas untuk penyelenggaraan Pemilu di Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) telah terpenuhi jumlahnya. Keempat, Pastikan Tim Pengamanan siap untuk mengamankan pelaksanaan Pemilu, sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditetapkan dalam Prosedur Pengamanan.
Sebelumnya, Pelaksana Harian Kepala Kesbangpol Provinsi Jambi Aprizal, S.Sos., M.Si melaporkan, Rakor Politik diikuti sebanyak 75 orang terdiri dari unsur Bupati/Walikota Se-Provinsi Jambi, Ketua KPU kabupaten/Kota, Ketua Bawaslu Kabupaten/Kota, Perangkat yang membidangi Politik dan Forum Agama dan Kemasyarakatan.
