Desa Lubuk Sayak - Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH mengatakan, penanaman padi ini merupakan salah satu aksi nyata untuk menekan inflasi dan penguatan ketahanan pangan serta upaya mendukung percepatan antisipasi darurat pangan. Hal tersebut dikatakan Gubernur saat melakukan Tanam Perdana Padi Sawah dalam rangka upaya Pengendalian Inflasi, bertempat di Desa Lubuk Sayak, Kecamatan Pelawan, Kabupaten Sarolangun, Selasa (23/07/2024) sore.
"Terima kasih dan apresiasi saya sampaikan kepada seluruh pihak yang telah berkontribusi untuk melaksanakan penanaman padi dalam rangka upaya pengendalian inflasi ini, baik Bupati dan jajaran Pemerintah Kabupaten Sarolangun atas dukungan dan perhatian yang tinggi dalam mendukung pembangunan pertanian, Pemerintah Kecamatan Pelawan, Pemerintah Desa Lubuk Sayak, dan apresiasi khusus kepada para petani serta seluruh insan pertanian untuk tetap semangat dalam berusaha tani. Pertahankanlah sawah kita ini, jangan mau diganti dengan sawit, ditanami sawit, sudah kita coba, masalah hasilnya lebih banyak hasil sawah," ujar Gubernur Al Haris.
“Sekarang ini bagaimana bisa kita meningkatkan hasil tani tersebut bisa menjadi lebih, apakah pompa air, sementara itu, saya juga dapat informasi bahwa ada juga saluran air juga rusak. Ini nantinya kami tugaskan Dinas Pertanian untuk meneliti kerusakan tersebut, akan kita coba perbaiki, agar pertanian disini lancar," lanjut Gubernur Al Haris.
"Bertani adalah pekerjaan yang sangat mulia, selain untuk perekonomian petani itu sendiri, juga untuk ketahanan pangan dan mengedalikan inflasi, khusunya komoditas padi/beras di Provinsi Jambi terutama di Kabupaten Sarolangun, maupun turut berkontribusi untuk merawat alam/lingkungan," imbuh Gubernur Al Haris.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Al Haris juga menjelaskan bahwa Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi melalui Dinas Tanaman Pangan Hortikultura dan Peternakan Provinsi Jambi telah menyusun rencana strategis yang bertujuan kembali menanam pada lahan lahan kosong.
"Kemaren sewaktu pertemuan Presiden dan Menteri Pertanian berserta Gubernur, bagi para petani yang mempunyai lahan yang belum digarap atau diolah bisa mengusulkan dana pengolahan, satu hektar bisa dapat 20 juta. Dana tersebut bisa ditransfer kerekening masing-masing petani, yang jelas sekarang ini didata dulu," jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
"Hasil sawah-sawah kita ini sangat membantu perekonomian rumah tangga kita juga daerah melalui pengelolaan komoditas unggulan yang berkelanjutan (ekonomi hijau), guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan Masyarakat,” jelas Gubernur Al Haris lagi.
Gubernur Al Haris mengungkapkan, Provinsi Jambi pada tahun 2024 telah ditetapkan sasaran tanam padi seluas 109.260 hektar. "Untuk mendukung pencapaian sasaran tersebut telah dialokasikan kegiatan-kegiatan pengembangan tanaman pangan, baik melalui anggaran yang bersumber dari dana APBN maupun APBD Provinsi Jambi. Upaya pencapaian sasaran pengembangan tanaman pangan di Provinsi Jambi dilaksanakan melalui 4 (empat) strategi utama, yaitu, pertama, Peningkatan Produktivitas melalui Intensifikasi Pertanian, kedua, Optimalisasi dan Perluasan Areal Tanam, ketiga, Pengamanan Produksi, dan keempat, Penguatan Kelembagaan," ungkap Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris juga menekankan, penanaman padi merupakan salah satu aksi nyata untuk menekan inflasi dan penguatan ketahanan pangan serta upaya mendukung percepatan antisipasi darurat pangan. "Untuk itu masyarakat saya himbau tidak boleh melakukan alih fungsi lahan dari tanaman pangan ke peruntukan lain, sehingga lahan-lahan produktif tetap eksis dan ketahanan pangan di Provinsi Jambi tetap dalam kondisi aman," himbau Gubernur Al Haris.
Pada kesempatan ini Gubernur Al Haris juga menyerahkan bantuan alsintan secara simbolis yang diterima oleh Pj. Bupati Sarolangun dan para kelompok tani. Adapun bantuan alsintan yang diserahkan Gubernur Jambi ini diantaranya adalah berupa Traktor Roda Dua yang merupakan bantuan dari Pemerintah Pusat (APBN), Power Theresher (Bantuan Dumisake), bantuan Irigasi Perpompaan (8 unit) dan Irigasi Perpipaan (6 unit) dan Pompa Air.
