Sengeti - Gubernur Jambi Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH mengharapkan pengembangan pendidikan di Muaro Jambi harus ditingkatkan, standar Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) seharusnya bisa sama dengan daerah lain yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Harapan tersebut disampaikan Gubernur saat memberikan Bantuan Dumisake Pendidikan dan sekaligus menjadi Narasumber Dialog Kebangsaan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan Tahun 2024, bertempat di SMA Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Selasa, (30/07/2024).
Dalam sambutan dan arahannya Gubernur Al Haris menyampaikan ucapan rasa syukurnya karena pada hari ini dapat melaunhcing Program Bantuan Dumisake yang akan dibagikan dimana pada tahun 2024 ini ada 5.500 siswa yang dapat bantuan program Dumisake Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi dan untuk sekolah di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi ada sebanyak 429 orang siswa/siswi yang mendapatkannya. "Dengan adanya bantuan Dumisake ini, semoga dapat membantu meringankan beban orang tua siswa, selain itu pemerintah terus mendorong anak-anak kita terus meningkatkan sportivitas belajarnya meningkat agar IPM kita terus meningkat. Jangan kalah dengan daerah lain, dan harus belajar secara sportif," ujar Gubernur Al Haris.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Al Haris juga mengajak semua majelis guru untuk selalu memberikan perhatian khusus kepada anak-anak didiknya agar secara sportif belajar. "Tujuan kita agar terus memompa semangat pelajar di Jambi, terus memberikan dampak positif untuk kemajuan pendidikan kita di Muaro Jambi ini, karena kita terus berjuang agar IPM Muaro Jambi bisa meningkat. IPM juga suatu tolak ukur majunya pendidikan di suatu provinsi. Untuk itu kedepannya IPM kita tidak boleh ada ketimpangan jarak terlalu jauh dengan kabupaten lain," kata Gubernur Al Haris.
"Sebagai pelaku pendidikan, kepala sekolah, guru, agar mengurangi ketimpangan IPM tersebut bisa teratasi dan sejajar dengan kabupaten lain, untuk itu mari bersama kita tingkatkan, apakah disiplin anak-anak kita tingkatkan, atau kurikulumnya yang harus cepat dikembangkan di sekolah ini. Mulai dari sekarang peran kepala sekolah dalam mengejar IPM harus ditingkatkan, dan ini untuk jadi perhatian," sambung Gubernur Al Haris.
Pada saat Dialog Kebangsaan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan Tahun 2024, Gubernur Al Haris menyampaikan bahwa dirinya sangat mengapresiasi seluruh siswa dan siswi SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi yang hadir saat ini, artinya pemerintah terus hadir untuk ini dan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) Provinsi Jambi. "Pemerintah terus hadir dalam memberikan/meningkatkan pemahaman bagi siswa/siswi tentang pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan dan juga mengenal dan menggali jati diri sebagai anak bangsa, agar seluruh siswa/siswi mengikuti acara ini. Semoga keikutsertaan anak-anak kami dapat memberikan manfaat besar dalam menambah wawasan bagi kita semua," ucap Gubernur Al Haris.
"Dalam menggali jati diri sebagai anak bangsa dalam menjaga NKRI, apa yang bisa kita sumbangkan untuk bangsa ini, sedangkan negara sudah banyak memberikan kepada kita, seperti pembangunan fasilitas jalan, bangunan sekolah yang memadai, bea siswa, berobat gratis dan banyak lainnya. Untuk itu kita perlu memahami daerah kita yang lebih amanah, membela negara kita dan memajukan pembangunan disegala bidang," lanjut Gubernur Al Haris.
Gubernur Al Haris menjelaskan, kenapa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan penting, karena memberikan pemahaman, menambah wawasan bagi semua, sehingga memiliki cara pandang/perspektif/paradigma yang tepat terhadap bangsa dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). "Negara kita, Indonesia merupakan negara yang sangat majemuk, sangat beragam penduduknya, baik suku, ras, budaya, bahasa, dan agama. Keberagaman/kemajemukan ini merupakan anugerah yang harus disyukuri sebagai anugerah Tuhan Yang Maha Esa," jelas Gubernur Al Haris.
"Saya berharap agar ananda semua mengikuti Dialog Kebangsaan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan ini dengan sebaik-baiknya, supaya ananda semua memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik lagi tentang Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan. Lebih baik lagi, jika ananda rajin membaca-baca tentang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan dari berbagai literatur, baik buku maupun dari berbagai sumber di internet, untuk menambah wawasan kalian dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasia dan Wawasan Kebangsaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, agar ananda semua bisa menjadi orang-orang yang bijaksana dalam kehidupan sosial," pungkas Gubernur Al Haris.
Pada kesempatan ini Gubernur Al Haris juga menyerahkan bantuan dari Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi melalui Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jambi Program Dumisake 2024 berupa seperangkat alat-alat sekolah dan Bantuan Biaya Pendidikan Jenjang SMA, SMK, SLB negeri dan swasta sebanyak 429 orang siswa, dengan rincian untuk Jenjang SDLB sebanyak 3 sekolah dengan penerima manfaat sebanyak 28 orang siswa. Kemudian Jenjang SMA sebanyak 24 sekolah dengan penerima manfaat sebanyak 266 orang siswa. Sedangkan untuk SMK sebanyak 25 sekolah, dengan penerima manfaat sebanyak 135 orang siswa.
