TANJAB TIMUR - Ketua Tim Penggerak (TP) PKK Provinsi Jambi, Hj. Hesnidar Haris melakukan kunjungan dan peninjauan ke Posyandu Pinang Merah di Desa Kota Baru Kecamatan Geragai, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Kamis (01/08/2024).
Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam rangka supervisi dan evaluasi Tim Penggerak PKK Provinsi Jambi yang bertujuan untuk meninjau kegiatan pada Posyandu yang berintegrasi dengan PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) serta melihat perkembangan proses pencegahan stunting dan penanganan gizi buruk pada balita.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini Hj. Hesnidar Haris berharap dapat diketahui tingkat stunting dan gizi buruk pada balita sehingga dapat dilakukan pencegahannya.
“Tadi kita melihat ada beberapa kasus stunting, dan sudah dilakukan penanganannya dengan menganggarkan makanan bergizi melalui dana desa yang disiapkan oleh kader PKK dan setiap harinya akan dijemput oleh orang tua balita tersebut untuk menjamin gizi anak-anaknya,” ujar Hj. Hesnidar Haris.
Lebih lanjut Hj. Hesnidar Haris mengatakan, bahwa jika program ini dijalankan dengan baik maka tingkat stunting dan gizi buruk disetiap wilayah secara bertahap akan terus berkurang.
“Dengan adanya program ini, kedepannya tingkat stunting dan gizi buruk disetiap wilayah secara bertahap akan terus berkurang karena sudah ada pola-pola (penanganannya), sehingga tingkat stunting dapat diturunkan dan gizi anak-anak meningkat,” pungkasnya.
