Acara diawali pembacaan yasin, tahlil sebagai bentuk doa memohon keberkahan, selama menempati rumah dinas.

Bupati Sarolangun Hurmin didampingi bersama Wakilnya Gerry Trisatwika dalam sambutannya mengatakan, bahwa acara ini selain sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur, juga bertujuan untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi.

"Sebagai bupati, izinkan saya menyampaikan rasa terima kasih yang mendalam kepada seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Sarolangun yang telah mempercayakan kepada saya bersama adinda Gerry untuk memimpin Sarolangun 5 tahun kedepan," kata Hurmin

Hurmin bercerita, selama di Gembleng di Lembah Tidar, Ia banyak belajar tentang disiplin ilmu pembekalan, bahwa pemimpin bukan tentang kekuasaan, melainkan tentang pengorbanan, keteladanan dan keberanian untuk mengambil keputusan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat.

"Saya menyadari bahwa amanah ini bukanlah tugas yang ringan. Namun saya yakin dengan kerja keras dan semangat gotong royong dari seluruh elemen masyarakat kita yang memajukan Kabupaten sarolangun lebih baik lagi ke depan dan Sarolangun maju," ungkapnya. 

"Saya atas nama pribadi dan keluarga serta jajaran Pemerintah Daerah mengucapkan selamat menjalankan ibadah puasa 1446 hijriah, semoga Allah senantiasa memberikan kemudahan dan kesehatan bagi kita semua dalam menjalankan ibadah puasa ini," Hurmin menambahkan.

Turut hadir dalam acara penuh keakraban ini, para Asisten, Staf Ahli Bupati, kepala OPD, pemuka agama, para ASN lingkungan Pemkab Sarolangun serta tamu undangan lainnya.
