JAMBI - Lima orang team Japan Internasional Jepang (JICA) tiba di Jambi pada Minggu (17/02/19) kemarin. Kedatangan team JICA ke Jambi bermaksud akan memperkenalkan
Persatuan Rugby Union Indonesia (PRUI) ke berbagai sekolah yang ada di Jambi, mulai dari tingkat SD hingga ke tingkat SMA.
Sosialisasi tersebut diselenggarakan nantinya oleh PRUI Jambi. “JICA akan melakukan sosialisasi di sekolah - sekolah, semakin banyak sekolah yang berminat semakin baik," ujar Ketua pengurus provinsi PRUI Jambi Andi Megawanto, Senin (18/02) kemarin.
Dikatakannya, Sosialisasi tersebut akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18-21 Februari 2019. Sebagai tuan rumah PRUI Jambi akan memfasilitasi biaya antar jemput team JICA selama di Jambi. Sedangkan akomodasi di tanggung oleh team JICA sendiri. Selain itu, PRUI Jambi juga akan menghubungi sekolah - sekolah dan mengelola jadwal sosialisasi serta mendata setiap sekolah yang akan mengikuti sosialisasi tersebut.
Lebih jauh dikatakan Andi Megawanto, Pengprov PRUI Jambi meminta team JICA memanfaatkan waktunya untuk membantu team Jambi ke Jurnas U-19 Putra dan Putri ke Jurnas/PRA-PON yang akan di selenggarakan pada bulan Agustus mendatang di Bali.
