MERANGIN - Satres Narkoba Polres Merangin mengamankan EK (33) warga Kelurahan Pasar Atas, Kecamatan Bangko. Pelaku EK diamankan Tim Satgas III Ops Antik Siginjai 2019 pada Rabu (13/02) dan membawa pelaku ke Mapores Merangin Untuk di introgasi serta pengembangan kasus yang menjerat pelalku.
Kapolres Merangin melalui Kasat Narkoba Polres Merangin Iptu Robinson Singarambun, membenarkan penangkapan EK warga Kelurahan Pasar atas atau tepatnya warga lorong pinang sebatang sebagai pelaku penyalahgunaan narkoba.
”Iya anggota mengamankan pelaku tindak pidana narkoba jenis Sabu-Sabu, berinisial EK (33) warga asal lorong Pinang Sebatang Kecamatan Bangko, tepatnya di Pasar Atas Bangko, Merangin,” kata Kasat.
Penangkapan berawal dari informasi masyarakat setempat, bahwa sekitar Lorong Pinang Sebatang sering terjadi transaksi narkoba. Berbekal informasi tersebut, Satuan Satres Narkoba Polres Merangin menyelidiki tersebut. Hasilnya, Polisi berhasil menangkap satu orang beserta barang bukti.
”Dua bungkus plastik yg diduga berisi narkotika jenis shabu bruto 0,18 gram, 2 buah potongan kertas timah rokok warna silver, 1buah kotak rokok, 1 unit HP samsung lipat warna putih beserta sim card. Pelaku kita bawa kekantor Polres Merangin untuk mempertangung jawabkan perbuatannya,” ujar Kasat.
Menurut Kasat Narkoba Polres Merangin, pelaku dijerat dengan undang-undang narkotika, ”Pelaku akan dikenakan Pasal 114 ayat 1 dan Pasal 112 Ayat 1 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 Tahun 2009, ancamannya limabelas tahun penjara,” tandas Kasat.
