Rombongan bupati disambut oleh Kepala Puskesmas (Kapus) Bangko dr Asril Naibaho dan jajaran medis Puskesmas bermotto ‘Ramah Lansia’ itu, di depan gerbang  masuk Puskesmas.
Menariknya sebelum rombongan dipersilahkan masuk ke Puskesmas, bupati bersama rombongan diminta cuci tangan dengan sabun di air yang mengalir, yang ditempatkan di depan pintu masuk Puskesmas.
‘’Ini baru mantap, telah tersedianya air yang mengalir dan sabun untuk mencuci tangan, sehingga siapa saja yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas ini dalam kondisi steril dari kuman penyakit,’’ ujar Bupati.
Selanjutnya rombongan bupati langsung menunju Posko Covid-19 wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bangko. Di Posko tersebut, bupati merasa puas dan sangat mengapresiasi, karena apa yang diharapkan, sesuai dengan apa yang dikerjakan.
Selain tersedianya sarana mencuci tangan, juga sudah ada jarak yang dibuat sebagai social distancing untuk para calon pasien yang antri. Bupati minta puskesmas lainnya, bisa melakukan hal yang sama.
 ‘’Tenaga medis ini garda depan dalam penanggulangan dan pencegahan Corona. Untuk itu Alat Perlindung Diri  (APD) harus cepat diberikan, sehingga petugas medisnya marasa aman dalam bekerja,’’ terang Bupati. 
Pada kesempatan itu selain mamantau Posko Covid-19, bupati juga menandatangani prasasti ‘Puskesmas Bangko Santun Lansia’. Diakui bupati dalam penanganan Lansia, Puskesmas Bangko benar-benar maksimal.
‘’Jadi petugas medis Puskesmas Bangko ini tidak hanya ke rumah-rumah Lansia untuk pengecekan kesehatan dan pengobatan, tapi sampai memandikan Lansia tersebut, sehingga bersih dan sehat. Ini patut ditiru Puskesmas lainnya,’’ terang Bupati.
Kapus Bangko dr Asril Naibaho menambahkan, pelayanan prima kepada Lansia yang dilakukan tim medis Puskesmas Bangko itu, menjadi salah satu poin terbesar bisa diraihnya Akreditasi Utama.
‘’Kami di Puskesmas Bangko selalu siap mengembang tugas, untuk menyukseskan visi misi Bapak Bupati. Memang untuk lokasi, puskesmas ini sudah sangat sempit dan perlu pengembangan Pak Bupati,’’ ujar Asril Naibaho.
Menyikapi hal tersebut, bupati yang datang bersama Ketua DPRD Merangin, langsung bertolak menuju Gedung Eks Kantor Lurah Pasar Atas Bangko, yang jaraknya sekitar 100 meter dari Puskesmas Bangko.
‘’Gedung ini nanti akan kita rehab menjadi Rumah Bersalin Puskesmas Bangko. Jadi khusus persalinan terpaksa di lokasi lain, karena tidak ada ruang yang bisa dikembangkan di Puskesmas Bangko,’’ tandas Bupati.
