BATANGHARINESW.COM - SKK Migas bersama Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. kembali menyerahkan bantuan bahan pokok bagi masyarakat terdampak Covid-19 di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur (TJT), Provinsi Jambi, pada hari Selasa, 12 Mei 2020. Pada kesempatan ini, PetroChina menyerahkan 500 paket sembako kepada Gugus Tugas Covid-19 Kabupaten TJT serta tiga ton beras kepada Kepolisian Resor TJT.
Act. Field Manager PetroChina Jabung Chandra Jaya secara simbolis menyerahkan bantuan paket bahan pokok ini kepada Bupati TJT Romi Hariyanto dan Wakil Kepala Kepolisian Resor TJT Kompol Ridwan Jason Maruli Hutagaol dalam acara yang berlangsung di Kantor Bupati TJT di Muara Sabak.
“PetroChina kembali menyalurkan paket bantuan tanggap darurat Covid-19 kepada pihak pemerintah Kabupaten dan Kepolisian Resor Tanjung Jabung Timur pada hari ini. Kami berharap bantuan ini akan sampai ke masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan,” ujar Chandra.
VP Human Resources and Relations PetroChina Dencio Renato Boele menyebutkan bahwa bantuan ini adalah wujud nyata sinergi antara pemerintah dan industri hulu migas di Provinsi Jambi. “Semoga bantuan kami dapat meringankan beban masyarakat Tanjung Jabung Timur yang terdampak wabah Covid-19, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung,” jelasnya.
Sebelumnya, KKKS PetroChina juga telah menyerahkan bantuan 50 paket alat pelindung diri (APD) kepada Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Nurdin Hamzah TJT pada tanggal 2 Mei 2020. Selain itu, KKKS PetroChina juga menyerahkan bantuan 7.000 masker kain, lima wastafel cuci tangan dan 10 botol sabun cuci tangan kepada Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) TJT, Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) TJT dan Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI) TJT.
SKK Migas dan KKKS PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. terus memberikan kontribusi maksimal di tengah kondisi ini. Menyadari adanya kesulitan yang dirasakan masyarakat akibat mewabahnya Covid-19 ini, terutama kondisi ekonomi, menjadikan SKK Migas dan KKKS PetroChina menganggap penting untuk berupaya meringankan kesulitan ini dengan kembali memberikan bantuan bagi masyarakat dan kali ini berupa sembako. Kepala Perwakilan SKK Migas Sumbagsel Adiyanto Agus Handoyo mengungkapkan bahwa memang hingga saat ini SKK Migas di lima kantor perwakilan di seluruh Indonesia bersama KKKS-nya termasuk di wilayah Sumatera Bagian Selatan terus berkoordinasi untuk dapat mengetahui apa saja yang dapat dilakukan dan diberikan guna meringankan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi masyarakat terutama yang ada di wilayah operasional perusahaan. “Kami masih terus berkoordinasi, dan pada periode ini kami mengutamakan memberikan bantuan sembako untuk masyarakat. Melihat kondisi saat ini menjadikan tidak sedikit masyarakat yang mengalami kesusahan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari dikarenakan terbatasnya keberadaan barang hingga harga yang melonjak naik. Sehingga kami harap bantuan kali ini dapat memberikan manfaat dan membuat masyarakat bisa sedikit bernafas lega,” ungkap Adiyanto.
Adiyanto juga menambahkan harapan agar masyarakat dapat terus memberikan dukungannya untuk kelancaran kegiatan operasional hulu migas. SKK Migas dan KKKS tentunya memahami kewaspadaan yang dirasakan masyarakat namun dapat dipastikan bahwa industri hulu migas selalu menjaga komitmennya terhadap pencegahan virus Covid-19. Berbagai langkah pencegahan dilakukan diantaranya dengan memperketat peraturan dan pengecekan kondisi kesehatan bagi pekerja yang akan melakukan kegiatan di fasilitas operasi, mengurangi periode pertukaran pekerja, menjaga kebersihan dan keamanan serta menggunakan masker dan yang tak kalah penting adalah menerapkan sistem karantina pekerja saat pergantian. Kegiatan operasional hulu migas ini tentunya tetap harus terus berjalan untuk menjaga pasokan minyak dan gas bumi di Indonesia guna mencegah terjadinya krisis energi.
Manajemen PetroChina terus berkoordinasi dengan SKK Migas dan institusi kesehatan terkait dalam penanganan Covid-19 di Jakarta dan di Jambi.
KKKS PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. merupakan Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) dan operator Blok Jabung di bawah pengawasan dan pengendalian SKK Migas. Dalam mengelola Blok Jabung, PetroChina bermitra dengan Pertamina dan Petronas Carigali. Selain menjadi operator Blok Jabung, PetroChina juga sebagai operator Blok Bangko di Jambi.
