BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Seorang anak laki-laki bernama Parian Ahmad alias Parel (8) tahun, warga Desa Pasar Terusan, Kecamatan Muarabulian, Kabupaten Batanghari dikabarkan terseret arus sungai Batanghari dan tenggelam.
Bocah yang masih duduk dibangku sekolah dasar (SD) dikabarkan terseret arus sungai Batanghari saat mandi di Sungai bersama temannya sekira pukul 10.30 wib pada Kamis (20/8/2020).
Kabar terseretnya bocah laki-laki ini mengundang perhatian warga untuk membantu dalam pencarian korban. Pencarian korban sedikit mengalami kesulitan, pasalnya warga hanya mengandalkan peralatan seadanya, seperti jala, menyelam serta membuat pusaran air dengan motor ketek berharap korban timbul.
Rusli, paman korban saat dikonfirmasi media mengatakan, peristiwa tersebut terjadi pada saat korban mandi di sungai Batanghari, tepatnya di Pelabuhan atau penyeberangan ketek di Pasar Terusan.
"Kabarnya korban bersama temannya mandi, kemudian terjun. Namun, pada saat itu korban tidak timbul lagi," kata Rusli.
Rusli berharap, keponakannya itu segera ditemukan dan mohon kepada pihak terkait untuk membantu pencarian korban.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum ada bantuan dari tim Sar BPBD Batanghari. Dan warga masih melakukan pencarian.
